Fantastic experience! If I could rate it higher I would. There were 4 of us so it was a very personal experience. All of our necessary gear was provided. Please wear ankle high boots & tall socks. We were there in Aug, it was sunny & we did not need heavy jackets or many layers (not nearly as cold as expected). Our guide Evan, was amazing!! He was not only very informative, he was funny, kind and let us decide our pace & how far we wanted to go. We loved EVERY minute of this hike!

Our guide (Evangelos) was the best! We did an amazing hike before reaching the glacier. Before entering and throughout the hike he explained thoroughly the safety rules and also the do's and dont's. We followed an amazing trail, did many activities at the glacier and learned a lot about the physics behind. We would definitely recommend this experience!

The Solheimajokull Glacier Hike with Evan was FABULOUS and a not-to-miss experience. Evan is a highly experienced guide who, even after all of these years, is still in love with the grandeur and beauty of the glacier. With the recent shutdown of the "easy" access to the glacier, I was a bit nervous about the more "moderate" 45-minute hike - but it was gorgeous and truly added to the experience. My husband and I are in our mid-50s and in decent shape, but I shattered my ankle about 5 years ago in a biking accident, and even after 5 surgeries, I don't have full range of motion. Evan was super helpful on the steep downward portions (I'm okay going uphill, but I struggle going downhill), and he even loaned me his walking stick to help me stabilize my footing. This is the only excursion we did in Iceland where we felt like we underpaid.

Evangelos was an outstanding tour guide for our family. We were first-time glacier hikers but he made us feel very safe and comfortable.

Evan did an amazing job. The had all the facts we wanted and showed us all the fascinating features. He was always being considerate of our safety. Can not recommend this small group tour enough! We were extra lucky to be the only people on the tour.

Best Glacier experience for the entire family! Our guide, Evangelos, was not only full of knowledge but also adventurous while keeping safety a top priority. Our family hiked the glacier and took amazing photos along the way. This is a must!
