Meeting went well, good pre-event communication. Short shopping stop and a 3-4 block walk to final location. Guide was pleasant enough but seemed disinterested, hurried, and struggling to work alone (prep, instructions, responding to questions, assistance, clean up). Seems a helper would have been well received. Event itself just didn’t seem cohesive, fun, nor truly educational. When finished guide didn’t walk two senior couples back to meeting location in the dark, didn’t even assist us down very steep slippery stairs to the street. Event showed as 3 hours. Lasted 2h40m just fyi.
What a great way to spend an evening in Tokyo! My wife and I loved the laid-back feel of learning to cook, and shop ingredients for, delicious home-cooked Japanese dishes. We will definitely be making these dishes back home in the future! Our guide, Candy, was absolutely fantastic! She was incredibly friendly and always made us feel welcome in her very charming studio! Thank you so much, Candy! I can't recommend this tour enough for people of all cooking levels! It was an excellent experience with great people and delicious food!

What a wonderful evening! My husband, adult daughter and I ended up being the only participants due to a last minute cancellation. We got to visit a local supermarket before arriving at the apartment. Yuma and Masae were absolutely delightful - friendly and interactive. They demonstrated the dishes and then we were given the chance to make it ourselves so even if our dish didn’t work, there was always a back up but everything did work so there was so much food to eat. Easy to follow, fresh and absolutely scrumptious. I would do this again
Amazing cooking experience to get to know Japanese culture and cuisine better. Alice was wonderful with us, sharing a lot of details and her knowledge and answering all our questions. Without a doubt, one of the best tours of the trip! The recipes are easy to make back at home, so very practical!
