This was an excellent experience, all the animals were out and visible. The tour guide did a good job explaining everything and made sure that the driver stopped close to the animals so that we could capture good footage.

Admire was our guide, he was such an amazing and caring person. Admire never left our side, ensured we were cared for the whole day. We honestly enjoyed Aquila immensely, our expectations were met and surpassed.

Leon was a fantastic guide — friendly, knowledgeable, and thoughtful enough to drop me safely at my place instead of the original pickup location. The safari itself was tranquil and breathtaking. Seeing animals in their natural environment felt intimate and deeply moving, a reminder of the beauty of wildlife when undisturbed. I’d recommend it to anyone seeking a memorable and authentic wildlife experience.

Excellent communication throughout Our Guide Mr T looked after us so well from start to finish, a lovely young man. Lunch before going off on Safari was excellent, all very well organised.

The driver (Tetanda aka Mr T) from Cape Town was amazing! Total took care of us and made sure things ran smoothly. Very knowledgeable of the area. The safari was nice and good for first timers or people with limited time. Got some great pictures!

Our driver Admire arrived on time well presented and clean car he drove us to the Aquila game reserve. He helped us get good seats on the safari truck. He was considerate and fun to be with.

Mr. T picked us up and a luxury vehicle. He was very professional and educational. He made sure we were taken care of and stopped for us to grab stuff we may have needs or wanted on the way to the safari. I highly recommend him for your driving needs.

When it says bumpy ride they mean it! If you do not have back problems it is worth the trip. Nice scenery on the way.

Take the afternoon ride if you can. Already the drive through the vinyards and the mountains is enjoyable. Of course, this 2.5 hrs safari in Aquila cannot be compared to a few days in Kruegers, but you see the animals in their natural surroundings - during a half day trip from Cape Town. Thanks to Mr. T the drive was great and informative. Locals then take over for the safari itself. Simply a good decision, if you are interested in a safari without too much effort. Thanks, Mr. T.
