I went on a 5 day tour of the Bahariya oasis, Djara Cave as well as the Black and White Deserts. What i saw, what I experienced will be something I'll surely treasure for the rest of my life. Apart from the breathtaking, humbling scenery the thing that struck me the most was the hospitality, concern and friendship from the two gentlemen I toured with. Words cannot express how Marwan and Farouk made this trip as over the top as it was. Marwan, the tour guide, is a young man just starting out and Farouk, the driver, chef, mechanic, builder and dishwasher (he forbade anyone from touching them). I can't thank these two men enough. It was an honor and a privilege to travel with them. The scenery was truly incredible, the silence of the desert was haunting, the night sky was simply unbelievable! Thank you once more Marwan and Farouk, I hope to see you both again. Also a special thank you to Menna at Sun Pyramids who made everything come together and frequently checked in. Hands down 10/10!
