We truly enjoyed the tour. Both Yogyakarta and the the temple were really nice. Most of all we loved the two hikes, expecially Ijen Crater, one of the most beautiful place in the world, definitively a must have in your trip in Indonesia. We also enjoed the time spent with our driver Toni, he was both professional and very funny.
If you want to experience the absolute best of Indonesia without the massive headache of planning logistics, the Yogyakarta to Bali 5-Day Tour by @jotuuofficial is a total masterpiece. This fast-paced, epic journey transitions flawlessly from the ancient heritage of Borobudur, to the otherworldly volcanic sunrise of Mount Bromo, and finally to the mesmerizing, rare electric Blue Fire of Mount Ijen before dropping you off to relax in tropical Bali. The ground team handles every single detail—from premium overland transport and 4x4 jeeps to park permits and safety gear—meaning you can fully immerse yourself in the breathtaking landscapes and endless photo ops without burning any energy on the logistics. It is the most efficient, rewarding, and seamless way to tick three world-class bucket-list destinations off your list in just five days!
Intense but highly rewarding 5-day journey from Yogyakarta to Bali. The itinerary covers Borobudur, Bromo, and Ijen with strong organization and smooth logistics. The driver was professional, punctual, and ensured safety during long transfers. Hotels were comfortable and well selected. Expect early starts and physically demanding treks, especially at Ijen and Bromo. The sunrise views and volcanic landscapes justify the effort. Overall, a well-managed tour that delivers diverse experiences across Java. Suitable for fit travelers seeking a compact and efficient adventure route.
Great arrangement overall. Those hikes at volcanoes and ancient temples are must-see! We were taken good care of by a guide-and-drive all the time, and professional guides are arranged at temples, palace, and for hikes. All of them were fluent in English. Our all-time-guide Toni was super! Highly reliable, punctual, friendly, and a great driver! He attended to every detail to make our journey very comfortable, for example, he always checked with us if we needed water, meals, and allowed us as much time we wanted at all scenic spots without a slightest murmur. We really enjoyed Toni’s company. Our guides at scenic spots were also professional and shared a lot of knowledge with us. This travel agency had good network of amazing guides! Oh, although the pick up at Bali was a little… of a contrast to our previous experience… I guess after a while only the happy memories stayed!
