★★★★★ An Amazing Guide and Driver – Highly Recommended! Brian was absolutely amazing throughout our 3-day, 2-night volcano trip! He was incredibly kind, thoughtful, and always cared about how we were feeling. He would constantly discuss the itinerary with us and adjust the plans whenever needed. He was also very friendly and fun to talk to during the long drives, and he would proactively recommend good local food and places to try. For Mount Bromo, Brian recommended that we watch the sunrise from the crater rather than going to the usual crowded viewpoint. We are so grateful that he suggested this! There were very few tourists there, and we were incredibly lucky to see such a beautiful sunrise. Brian is also an AMAZING photographer! 📸 He took so many beautiful photos for us, and you can completely trust him to capture great moments. At our accommodation near Ijen, Brian even offered to take us out for dinner. We happened to not be hungry at the time, but he still brought us some fried chicken to eat. 🥹 That was such a kind and thoughtful gesture, and it really showed how genuinely caring he is. For the Ijen trip, Brian also arranged a professional local guide, Qim, to accompany us. Although the hike was long, the whole journey was really enjoyable and interesting. Brian even brought extra jackets for us because he was worried that we might get cold. Finally, he made sure we arrived safely at the port and helped us throughout the entire journey. Brian is not only a great driver and guide, but also a genuinely kind and trustworthy person. We felt very comfortable and well taken care of throughout the whole trip. If you are planning a Bromo and Ijen trip, I highly recommend asking for Brian. You will be in very good hands! ❤️

We had an absolutely brilliant experience on this 3-day tour from Yogyakarta to Mount Bromo, Ijen and Bali. From start to finish, everything was incredibly well organised and ran smoothly. A special mention has to go to our fantastic tour guide, Atok. He was superb throughout the entire trip — incredibly attentive, friendly, chatty and interesting, while also being very patient and accommodating. He was always punctual, kept us informed about what was happening next and went out of his way to make sure everything ran smoothly. We genuinely couldn't have asked for a better guide. At Mount Bromo, Atok went out of his way to make sure we got the best possible viewing spot for the sunrise. The jeep journey up to Bromo was also great fun — and quite an experience in itself! There were literally hundreds of jeeps racing each other across the sand dunes, with drivers seemingly taking every possible opportunity to overtake one another for no apparent reason other than to be a few vehicles further towards the front of the queue! Our drivers were hilarious and we had a great laugh watching the chaos unfold. The Ijen excursion was undoubtedly the highlight of the trip. Atok handed us over to Qim Qim and his amazing Hakuna Matata team, who were absolutely brilliant. Qim Qim even ensured that we were the first group to arrive at the blue flames, giving us an unforgettable view of this incredible phenomenon before the crowds arrived. The climb to the top was challenging, but the team were incredibly supportive, making sure that all of us were okay and helping us reach the summit safely. And then they somehow made an already incredible experience even more special! While we waited at the very top for sunrise, they lit a campfire, made us all coffee and tea, and even brought out a guitar and sang songs with us. Sitting around a campfire at the top of Ijen, drinking hot coffee and singing songs while waiting for the sunrise is something we will remember for a very long time. The whole experience felt much more personal than just being on a standard organised tour. The guides genuinely cared about making sure we enjoyed ourselves and looked after us every step of the way. A huge thank you to Atok, Qim Qim and his team for an unforgettable experience. We would thoroughly recommend this tour to anyone visiting Java — and especially recommend it for the incredible Ijen experience.

Beautiful experience! This tour allows you to see the most authentic part of Java, passing through stunning territories and landscapes! Our guide Ardhan was fantastic, always kind and friendly, and he was also a great travel companion!

The experience was very good, to be honest. We achieved the objectives of seeing both volcanoes, Bromo and Ijen. We liked everything a lot. With Ardhan, the driver, everything was very easy. He is very kind and helpful, super polite, always with a smile and helping us with everything; he is amazing!! Always very punctual and everything was correct. On the day of Ijen, it rained heavily, and since we returned soaked, it helped us a lot!! Thank you!!! It is a bit complicated to spend these almost 3 days without sleeping, because the first excursion starts at 2am and the second at 11pm (we hardly slept at all last night), but it is worth it. The hotel in Bromo was quite humble, and the one in Ijen was quite good. What we did not like was that since they had to drop us off in Bali, and there was a long line of cars, they put us on a very shabby boat, with no available seats, that was moving at a snail's pace; I am not sure, but I think the trip took about 2 hours: since we were extremely tired from practically not having slept that night, that trip was tough for us (I think the cost of that trip was 0.30€... yes, cents).

Fantastic experience thanks to Atok, who was very kind from the first day until the last second spent with us. He was at our complete disposal and even though we wanted to offer him something, he always refused, showing himself to be very professional.

We had a wonderful 3d2n trip to Mt Bromo and Mt Ijen. Everything was super well organized and we did not have to care about anything. But the best thing was truly our guide Yune, who really made this trip special by taking care of us so well and teaching us so much about the country, its culture and the nature we were traveling within. The only thing that might leave some room for improvement was the hotel where we stayed near Mt Bromo.
