Chantal was spectacular. Made the entire trip to Peru work. The guides were all very knowledgable and the Boat captains knew their business! But, we were unprepared for the limited electricity (5:30 pm to 9 pm). Also hard were the cold showers. The events worked well. We probsbly expected too much for the Amazon jungle. We were spoiled by our Africa trip where the lodges are 4*.
