This tour way exceeded our expectations, from the organisation by Leonard to the excellent park guiding by Nickson and cooking by Bongey. We saw every animal we had wanted to see and that was down to Nickson our amazing guide, nothing was too much trouble for him. The food from our cook Bongey was so good and he even made special vegetarian meals for my wife. I have no hesitation in recommending this company for a safari.

Leonard the tour organizer was very helpful and made sure we had everything we needed. Nickson our tour guide had such an amazing knowledge of the wildlife and could spot the animals a mile off. Our camp chef produced fantastic meals for and us we never went hungry. They were both great friends. Will always remember our African Safari.

This was an excellent tour! Our driver-guide, Stanley, was outstanding. His experience and knowledge about the Serengeti wildlife helped make this tour all the many positives it was. And our chef, Buga, always delivered on providing great tasting meals. We thoroughly enjoyed the experience!

Dreamy safari – fantastically organized from start to finish! We had a truly dreamy safari and came back with countless wonderful memories. The entire trip was excellently organized from start to finish and we felt very well taken care of at all times. The communication beforehand was already uncomplicated and reliable. Through the contact link on TripAdvisor, we could ask the organizer questions at any time and received an answer on the same day. The pickup directly at our hotel also worked smoothly. The safari jeep was very comfortable and well-equipped. Our physical well-being was also excellently taken care of: The food was very delicious, and there was even a small refrigerator in the jeep for drinks. The accommodations were also very nice. We stayed in both a small hotel and in tents. Everything was clean, cozy, and comfortable. It was a bit cooler on the last night at the Ngorongoro Crater – one should prepare for that with appropriate clothing. The provided sleeping bags were very thick and warm, however, so we were well taken care of there as well. A very special thank you goes to our guide Patrick! He was simply great. Patrick was incredibly nice, dedicated, and competent and explained everything to us in detail. He really gave his all so that we could see as much as possible, and he was attentive and eager to help at all times. Thanks to him, our safari became a very special experience. Many thanks again to Patrick – he was truly fantastic! In the five days, we saw and experienced an incredible amount – actually everything one could dream of from a safari. The three parks we visited were all beautiful, and the combination of five days of safari and the various landscapes and animals was perfect for us. We can therefore wholeheartedly recommend this safari! A truly great experience, a fantastic organization, and a team where you can tell that the satisfaction of their guests is important to them. A small note regarding the visit to the Maasai village One thing we would wish for future guests to be a bit different: The visit to a Maasai village could be explained a bit more transparently in advance or offered as an option. We were taken to the village relatively abruptly on-site and subsequently divided into smaller groups. There, we were shown life in the village, which was very interesting in itself. Afterward, however, some in our group developed a somewhat uncomfortable feeling, as there was a very insistent attempt to persuade us to buy various souvenirs, some of which had very high prices. Perhaps it would be nicer to inform guests in advance about how this visit proceeds and that sales pitches also take place there. This way, everyone could decide for themselves whether they would like to participate. A voluntary donation or a more transparent approach would, in our opinion, also fit better with such a cultural experience. That is really just a small note regarding an otherwise fantastic trip. We were able to ask questions, express wishes, and make requests at any time – and they always tried to find a solution. We are incredibly happy and grateful to have done this safari. We collected memories during these five days that we will not forget for our entire lives. A very high recommendation – thank you very much for this unforgettable time!

Life changing experience with a brilliant company. Couldn't recommend meru more. Leonard our organiser always answered any questions we had immediately and insured a seamless trip. Goodwin and Johannes our two guides were brilliant, very knowledgeable and insured we saw the big 5 in our short trip. Our chef Mr Delicious was also so funny and made great food. A great company and a trip they insured we never forget.

I've great time during this shared group Safari. Kouma is an experienced guide, very good I'm spotting animals and careful at the group needs. We had Rasheed as chef, he is great at cooking we had many tasteful dishes!

Meru Slopes made our safari experience unforgettable. It was easy to communicate with Gift Tembo to plan out our trip and he was immensely helpful. We opted for a 5-day 4 night mid-tier option and honestly feel like we had the luxury experience. The lodging options were a dream and served as clean, comfy, and gorgeous places to rest after a long safari day. Our guide, Bryson, was fabulous, pointing out all sorts of animals and answering our constant questions about things we were seeing. He knew all the spots and would take us on detours if he heard of an exciting spotting nearby. We saw over 30 different species of animals on our trip, including the Big 5, giraffes, a cheetah with cubs and even a lion chase. If you’re looking for a tour company I definitely recommend.

Meru Slopes provided a once in a lifetime experience seeing the wonders of Tanzania. Our organizer Gift Tempo, day guide Victor, and our AMAZING safari guide Bryson created a special experience we will remember forever. Our safari with Meru Slopes was perfect from start to finish. Super service with individual adjustments and very spontaneous responses from organizer Leonard Mkwavi. Our guide Douglas is a very experienced driver with incredible knowledge about wildlife and other information about Tanzania, which he shares in a very pleasant way. Very likeable and accommodating. The wildlife experiences that Douglas made possible for us far exceeded our expectations.

I joined a group because I was solo. Joel, the driver, took us through Tarangire, Serengeti, and Ngorongoro, and we laughed so much together! He’s a very nice guy who makes it a pleasure to spend time with. We saw so many animals! Joel knows everyplace were the animals used to stay, so it’s only a patience factor, but usually we observed them almost immediately. He also helped me a lot when I lost my phone ❤️ (we found it!) The organisation provides you with loads of water, beers and even wine. The tents are very good, and the sleeping bags warm and clean. The chef “Bonge Elia” cooked for us a huge amount of “tamu sana” (delicious) food at every meal so that we were always so fullll! I don’t give 5 stars only for a few facts: Even if our car never had serious problems (every time Joel heard something stopped to fix it) as I saw for many others that stuck on the road, the car needs many small fixes that can improve the trip over long distances (windows closure, doors closure, engine starting mechanism (!!!), handles…). The first public camp chosen by the company in Serengeti, had not wifi and it wasn’t possible to dry hair in the bathroom as there was no plug-in (in Serengeti there is wifi, that is one of the few places where there wasn't….) I would have preferred to spend more time in Ngorongoro and to eat at the picnic area inside the crater or at the end of the park permit, outside the gate of the park instead of coming back to the camp at 11:30 for the meal. Overall, I really suggest the company, the driver and the chef, were a great experience.
