I went on the 5 day camping safari with Meru Slopes as a solo traveler; it was the trip of a lifetime. Rashid the cook and Lobulu the guide made our experience unforgettable—excellent food and lots of knowledge. I wanted to meet fellow travelers, and we had a group of 6 from all over the world during the safari. Do keep in mind that the camping requires you to be prepared with headlamps, towels, power banks, etc., since it is really a tent in the middle of the Serengeti. Also, the hotel in Arusha, Tourist Inn, is very bare bones probably one star; if you are a picky traveler, I would suggest booking your own hotel in Arusha. Overall, amazing experience—will highly recommend Meru Slopes

This experience was wonderful! Our guide Patrick was fantastic, always available for anything and thorough in his explanations during the various tours. Chef Buga always delighted us with excellent dishes and great friendliness, making the experience truly enjoyable and unforgettable. The organizer Gerome was always friendly, kind, and available to make everything even more comfortable. Highly recommended!!

Our driver-guide, Andrew, was exceptional—friendly, knowledgeable, informative, and genuinely enjoyable to spend time with throughout the trip. He worked hard to make sure we had the best wildlife viewing opportunities and helped make the experience unforgettable. Our chef, Gideon, was also outstanding. He was very accommodating, and the food was consistently delicious, healthy, and far better than I expected while camping. The camping experience was a lot of fun, and the accommodations were comfortable and well-maintained for a camping safari. Thanks to the team’s efforts, we were fortunate enough to see all of the Big Five, including incredible sightings in both the Serengeti and the Ngorongoro Crater. I highly recommend Meru Slopes Safari Tours to anyone looking for a memorable Tanzania safari experience!

Great experience with Meru slopes. Everything was perfect starting from the magnificent views to our tour guide Max who did a remarkable job explaining everything we see around us in exhaustive details. Max made sure we saw all sorts of animals in different habitat (lions, elephants, rhinos, monkeys, leopards, hippos and more).

I went offseason with Meru Slopes and the guide Samwel. It was a great experience!! We saw all the animals we wanted to see and Samwel was able to answer all our questions about everything. We had a great time with him and also the chef who cooked great food. When I come back to Arusha, I will definitely do this safari again with Meru Slopes!!!

We had a great experience on our safari in Tarangire and Ngorongoro crater. Nuru was a perfect guide and Rasheed provided very nice food. Thank you meru slopes and Jerome for helping us plan our trip. We really want to give a special thanks to Nuru, he thought us a lot about both culture and the animals, which made the trip very interesting! Also he is a very good driver, we always felt safe with him.

Just came back from a 5-day, 4-night safari in the Serengeti and it was such an amazing experience! 🦁🌅 Our guide was super friendly, knowledgeable, and made every game drive exciting. We got to see so many animals up close! The chef was also incredible — the food was delicious and way better than expected for a safari. The whole team was kind and took great care of us, making the trip feel easy and enjoyable. Honestly, I loved every moment and would highly recommend it to anyone! 🐘✨

I went on a six-day safari with Rashid. Rating to Judah certainly great. Rating to the visited natural parks definitely great and fantastic. Value for money I think among the best. The cook is also excellent. A nice surprise. Only thing, the sleeping aid for camping should be washed a little more often. I hope to book a new safari with them as soon as possible.

From the moment we arrived at Arusha Airport until our final drop-off, we had nothing but a positive experience and professional service. The vehicle was comfortable, and the timing for all the national park visits and game drives was perfectly managed. Additionally, the campsites and hotels were well beyond our expectations. Special thanks to our driver, Andrew, who was professional, entertaining, and simply a pleasure to be around. We also want to send our best regards to our cook, Buga; we truly enjoyed every meal he prepared. Everything was tasty, healthy, and a great introduction to local flavors. We saw every animal on our list and gained deep insights into the wildlife and Tanzanian culture. The knowledge shared with us throughout the trip was impressive and yet not boring at all. We are extremely satisfied with Meru Slopes and the entire team. We will definitely be recommending them to everyone!
