An awesome and amazing experience!! Captain Amanda is a great pilot whose effervescent personality and her crew make you feel very safe!! My first time and not my last time for a hot air balloon ride!!

Exceptional experience! These guys know how to do it right. From safety to top notch equipment, not once did we ever feel unsafe. After spending countless days on rough roads, maneuvering for position to see animals, and sucking down pounds of dust, it was so peaceful to float over the Serengeti with no sounds, bumps or dust. Balloon ride lasted about 1 hour and 10 minutes followed by a champagne toast and vehicle ride an excellent bush breakfast. Expensive but well worth it. My only regret was it didn’t last longer. Thanks to the awesome staff! You guys rock. Highly recommend

A hot‑air balloon ride has long been on my bucket list, and soaring over the Serengeti exceeded every expectation. We lifted off at dawn, watching the first light spill across the plains as herds of African wildlife moved gracefully below us. Sharing the sky with several other balloons created a breathtaking panorama—one of those rare moments where you feel both small and incredibly lucky. Our pilot was skilled and personable, adding to the sense of ease and wonder throughout the flight. The post‑landing celebration, complete with mimosas and a beautifully prepared breakfast, made the morning feel even more special. This experience was truly unforgettable and one I’ll cherish forever.

If you're debating whether to book this experience because of the price, we completely understand we did exactly the same. A hot air balloon safari is a financial commitment, but we'd always promised ourselves that if we were ever lucky enough to visit the Serengeti, this would be the place to do it. Looking back, it wasn't just worth every penny it was the highlight of our entire holiday. Our day started with a 4:30am pick-up from camp. It was an early start, but one we'll always remember because it gave us our first ever view of the Milky Way stretching across the African sky. We collected one other couple before arriving at the launch site around 6:00am, where tea, coffee, water and biscuits were waiting to warm us up, along with clean washroom facilities. After a warm welcome, we were introduced to our pilot, Rammy. From the very beginning his experience, humour and enthusiasm put everyone completely at ease. Any nerves quickly disappeared, replaced by excitement. Even at 6:30 in the morning, his positivity was infectious. As the balloon gently lifted into, we knew we were experiencing something truly special. Seeing the Serengeti from above is impossible to describe fully. We floated silently over prides of lions, elephants, giraffes and countless other animals, watching them begin another day in one of the world's most incredible landscapes. Rammy constantly shared his knowledge, but what really stood out was how he encouraged everyone in the basket to work together spotting wildlife. It created such a lovely atmosphere, with complete strangers celebrating every new sighting together. After a smooth landing, we celebrated with a champagne toast before being driven to breakfast. As we arrived, the crew welcomed us with singing, setting the tone for yet another memorable part of the morning. Fresh pastries were followed by a delicious cooked breakfast, and it was wonderful chatting with the other guests as we celebrated honeymoons, anniversaries, birthdays and bucket-list adventures together. One thoughtful touch we really appreciated was that the crew took photographs throughout the morning. They were emailed to us later that same day, giving us beautiful memories to look back on without feeling we had to spend the whole flight taking pictures ourselves. Everything about the experience was exceptional from the organisation and professionalism to the warmth of every member of the team. But a special thank you has to go to Rammy. His passion for what he does, his knowledge, humour and ability to bring a group of strangers together made an already magical experience even more unforgettable. We've been fortunate enough to have some amazing travel experiences over the years, but this sits right at the very top. If you've always dreamed of a hot air balloon ride and you're fortunate enough to be visiting the Serengeti, don't keep wondering "what if?". Book it. You won't regret it.

An unmissable experience when you go to the Serengeti. You will remember it forever. A comfortable safari vehicle picks you up from your lodging before dawn. You have the chance to see wildlife on the early drive as well as the drive to the breakfast (our driver put the viewing roof up on the vehicle when we saw a cheetah). Getting in and out of the balloon is easy and comfortable. There was nothing scary or uncomfortable about the experience. We saw way more wildlife than expected from the balloon. Plus it is a smooth, beautiful ride. Good breakfast, fun to meet new people. The Miracle Experience team are voted the top thing to do in the Serengeti for a reason.

★★★★★ What a truly magical experience soaring over the Serengeti with Miracle Experience. Everything was so well organised from start to finish. We received a detailed briefing the day before and were picked up from our lodge for an early 5:00 am start — and it was absolutely worth it. We arrived before sunrise to coffee, tea and snacks while the crew prepared the balloon. Captain Arturo gave a very detailed safety briefing and made us feel completely comfortable and confident before take-off. Before departing, the crew surprised us with a beautiful African song and dance performance which made the morning feel even more special. There were 16 guests on board, yet it still felt peaceful and spacious as we floated over the Serengeti. The wildlife viewing was incredible — thousands upon thousands of wildebeest stretching across the plains, accompanied by zebras, along with a variety of antelope and many more animals. Seeing it all from above gave such a unique perspective of the migration and the vastness of the landscape. Throughout the flight we felt completely safe. Captain Arturo was extremely knowledgeable and clearly very experienced flying the balloon. Our landing was wonderfully smooth and was celebrated with champagne mimosas, followed by an incredible bush breakfast. An experience of a lifetime and one we will never forget.
