We booked this tour as we had not been round east Madeira before ,we had a really great day with our driver /guide Leno ,he was really informative and took us to places we.would not have visited on a shore excursion from our cruise ship these included view points etc where coaches could not reach , he took us off roading which was very scary at times , we stopped in Santana for approx 1hr to get some lunch . Leno then took us to the only traditional Santana house which is still occupied by the decendants of its original owners . As most of them have been turned into shops etc . We then visited a rum factory where we tasted some of Madeira’s finest tipples before returning back to the cruise port . We through this tour was excellent value as we were picked up at 8.30am and did not return to our ship until 5pm . Leno was an excellent driver & guide and we would definitely recommend this tour .
Wonderful excursion with an exciting off-road course and good vibes from guide Luis 👌. The lunch was also delicious and extensive for what you pay.
Very cool trip, it was a great day. We were picked up on time. The atmosphere was very friendly. Overall Nelson provided us a very nice day.
