This was a wonderful experience! Denise was so welcoming and hospitable. We learned all about how to make each dish and she was not in a hurry to explain everything. We made everything and got to eat it in a lovely and relaxed environment.

Unforgettable experience
A fantastic experience.
We often do cooking activities during our travels. But it was the 1st time with a real chef who is used to teaching cooking.
Denise really cares about passing on her knowledge and that is felt throughout the activity.
We had a wonderful time discussing cooking, but also Mexico and life there.
And leaving with the PDF of the recipes is a very appreciated plus!

Salsas under the Yucatan Rainy Sun
It was an intimate and fun experience in cooking. A must do while visiting Merida. Learn Yucatan cooking with historical information of the area. It was fun learning about history and cooking... Can't wait to teach my high school students how t make healthy salsa during my nutrition course.. That will be fun!!

Amazing local cooking class
We loved this cooking class! Chef Denise and her son were so lovely and welcoming. We learnt a lot about the local cuisine and history too! We enjoyed learning to make quesadillas, tamales, tacos, soup and a delicious flan for dessert. Highly recommended 😊

Wonderful and delicious
Chef Carlos was absolutely charming. He is very patient and knowledgeable about foods in general, local and regional foods in particular. The meal we prepared was delicious and Chef made sure each of us had a hand in making every dish that was prepared. I would highly recommend this class if you truly want to experience the local cuisine. 5 stars!!!!

Delicious food, company, and information.
This was a fabulous experience. My family and I learned to cook a traditional Yucatán Monday family meal. Pork and beans with rice and 3 sauces. Plus margaritas and juice. Carlos was very patient during our navigation issues. He explained all the ingredients and things that are different from what we know like the types of limes, etc. It was very helpful and we learned a lot. And ate a lot!
