We recently completed a 4-day/3-night shared safari covering Tarangire, Central Serengeti, and the Ngorongoro Crater with Kiliclimb Africa Safaris, and the entire experience was beyond expectations. ​From our departure in Arusha, the logistics were completely seamless. The 4x4 pop-up roof safari vehicle was in top mechanical condition, comfortable, and well-equipped with charging ports and cold drinks throughout the drives. ​Our driver-guide was outstanding: deeply knowledgeable about wildlife behavior, highly professional, patient, and with an incredible eye for spotting animals. We felt safe at all times, and his respect for the national parks and wildlife was truly commendable. ​The accommodations were fantastic. Sleeping at Shuhudia Adventure Camp inside the Central Serengeti, surrounded by the true sounds of the African bush and hearing lions roar in the distance, was an absolute highlight of our trip. Jua Manyara Lodge and Ngorongoro Wild Camp were equally comfortable, clean, and welcoming. ​Special thanks to Naite, Moses, and the Kiliclimb team for their great communication and flawless organization from day one. We had an absolutely amazing 4-day safari in Tanzania as part of our honeymoon, visiting Tarangire National Park, the Serengeti and the Ngorongoro Crater. It was genuinely the highlight of our trip. We were incredibly lucky to see the Big Five, along with so many other animals and birds, and every day brought something different. The landscapes and wildlife were unbelievable, and having the opportunity to see everything up close is something we will never forget. A huge thank you to our guide, Logan, who was fantastic throughout the entire safari. His knowledge of the wildlife was excellent, and he was able to tell us so much about the animals and birds we encountered. Logan also gave us a great insight into Maasai culture and life in the local communities, which added another dimension to the trip beyond simply seeing the wildlife. He was incredibly friendly, patient and always happy to answer our questions. One of Logan’s biggest strengths was knowing exactly where to position the jeep to give us the best possible views and photo opportunities. He clearly knew the parks extremely well and was very good at anticipating where the animals might move, which resulted in some incredible sightings and photographs. Seeing lions, elephants, cheetahs, leopards, buffalo and rhinos in such close proximity was unforgettable. The jeep itself was also very comfortable and well equipped. There was plenty of cool drinking water and other refreshments available throughout all four days, which was particularly welcome during the longer game drives. The whole experience was well organised and we felt safe and looked after throughout. One small area that could be improved would be having a few more opportunities for couples to have photographs taken together during the safari. We obviously took hundreds of photos of the wildlife, but as it was our honeymoon, it would have been nice to have a few more photos of us together in some of the incredible locations and landscapes. It would also have been useful to have a better idea in advance of the driving distances and journey times between destinations. We hadn’t fully appreciated how much time would be spent driving between the different parks and accommodation, particularly as many of the locations are quite spread out. Having a clearer idea of this beforehand would have helped us know what to expect each day. These were minor points and didn’t take away from what was otherwise an exceptional experience. Thank you to the whole team, and especially Logan, for giving us such an incredible start to our honeymoon. We have come away with some amazing memories and photographs that we’ll be talking about for years to come. We would absolutely recommend this company and Logan to anyone considering a safari in Tanzania.

Picking Kiliclimbs for our safari tour was the best thing we done. Been texting Naite the Kiliclimbs tour operator on what’s app and she had everything organised for us. She made everything so easy for us from the first day we arrived in Tanzania. Also our tour guide Logan who we had for the safari was incredible . His knowledge of the animals was brilliant and also his knowledge of cities and towns we passed through on route to the safari in different national parks and reserves. A small point of criticism: The very detailed advance information and packing lists caused us some concern beforehand that there was a lot to keep in mind. As soon as the safari started, however, that proved to be completely unfounded. Kiliclimb is a first-rate local Tanzanian tour operator. I was a solo traveler, and I found them through the Safari bookings website. I chose them both because they are locally owned, and because they gave them most competitive package for a four day tour, which even included beer and wine. They even gave me a T-shirt and Safari hat. I was put into a larger group traveling through Tarangire, Serengeti, and Ngorngoro. The animal sightings were top-notch, we saw all of the big five and the driver was very careful and respectful of the wildlife. There was a lot of movement between different lodges and campsites for different guests, but it all went so smoothly. We ate a hot lunch every day. The Kiliclimb team was in touch with me every day by WhatsApp to make sure that I was comfortable and happy, and met me in person on my way back to Arusha. I felt like they really cared about how my trip went personally for me, and they did a good job setting everything up. I couldn’t be happier. I recommend this tour group and will definitely travel with them again next time I’m in the area.

This trip was deeply important to me, and coming in short on time and local insight, I relied heavily on Killi Climb's expertise and they didn't disappoint. Their recommendations were thoughtful and spot-on. A huge part of what made this journey exceptional was being paired with Logan as our guide. Logan is truly outstanding. He's deeply knowledgeable about local culture, tribes, and regional history, and for English speakers, he's exceptionally clear and engaging. What really set him apart was his keen eye for wildlife—he spotted animals the rest of us would have completely missed and his natural, genuine conversational style. The long hours in the car never felt like a chore because Logan has a gift for connecting with people. I genuinely appreciated him sharing personal aspects of his life, which made the experience feel authentic and personal. Beyond our guide, the lodges Killi Climb selected were all excellent: clean, well-maintained, and staffed with genuinely helpful people. One pleasant surprise was how much I enjoyed the Serengeti tent experience it was an unexpected highlight. One suggestion: Consider offering a range of accommodation options at different price points (high to low) so travelers can tailor their experience to their budget and preferences. That said, I have no major complaints—this was a thoroughly well-organized, thoughtful experience that I'd recommend without hesitation.

Wow! I came to Tanzania as a solo female traveler and elected to take a 4-day joining camping safari with Kili Climb African Safaris. I was impressed by the company's communication leading up to the trip and the personal attention of the owner, Moses, who was readily available via WhatsApp. He came to my hotel before and after the trip for briefings. He also arranged transportation for me for a city tour of Arusha and to the airport. It was very important to me to book with a company based in Tanzania to leave my money in the Tanzania economy. I also loved that Moses has started a non-profit supporting the education of some Tanzanian kids and that some part of the company's revenue is donated to that cause. I can say with no doubt that your money is well spent with this company and with Moses. For the safari, everything was seamlessly orchestrated. Though the lodges were very nice, I only had the budget for camping and found the tents to be comfortable and the homecooked meals to be delicious. I would call it "glamping". The camp in the Serengeti was the most primitive and it was a cool experience to sleep in the park with wildlife around you (I promise it was safe). I shared a car and meals at the camps with people from all over the world and enjoyed the conversations. Our guide's name was Humphrey. He was personable and was an expert, I would highly recommend him. He provided a lot of information about animal behaviors and the parks and knew where to go to see all of the wildlife that we were excited about. He even let our car borrow his personal binoculars. The 4-day safari essentially included a half-day game drive in Tarangire, two half-day game drives in the Serengeti, and one-half day game drive in the Ngorongoro Crater. I wish I could have stayed longer, but I was satisfied with the wildlife and the experience I had. Asante Sana to Kili Climb and Humphrey for an amazing, once-in-a-lifetime experience!
