Khaled, a very kind and intelligent man, showed us the Sahara desert with great energy and information. I learned a lot of material through him and found him to be very personable. Our group drank tea in the peak of the heights of the sand boarding hill, drifted on sandy grounds, and roamed the historic sight with plenty of amazing views and photos taken. I would highly recommend booking this tour to any group visiting Cairo.

We had an absolute blast on the Fayum Oasis tour with Nile Navigators. The pickup was smooth and arrived right on schedule. Driving through the high sand dunes in the 4x4 was pure excitement, and sliding down the slopes on a sandboard was definitely one of the highlights. Visiting Wadi El Hitan to see the Climate Change and Fossils Museum was incredible and added a rich historical dimension to the trip. Reaching the waterfalls surrounded by desert landscapes was a stunning sight as well. The guide made sure the day was well paced and took care of every detail. It was a fantastic excursion full of great moments and scenery.

One of the best moments was riding in the 4x4 across the sweeping sand dunes right by the water—it felt like a natural roller coaster as we crested and slid down the hills. Standing at the top of a massive dune with a board and gliding down toward the lake was an absolute thrill. Seeing the desert waterfalls at Wadi El Rayan flowing against the dry, open landscape provided a striking and peaceful finish to an action-packed day.

The 4x4 ride through the golden dunes near Magic Lake felt like a real roller coaster, and sliding down the steep sand slopes was an absolute blast. Watching the Wadi El Rayan waterfalls flow right through the desert landscape was an unforgettable sight.
