I have written hundreds of reviews as I have traveled the world over the years and take providing feedback seriously, so I hope you find my review helpful. If you want an easy-to-follow, hands-on, delicious way to experience Vietnamese cuisine in a clean and sanitary kitchen, I highly recommend this affordable class. I love taking local cooking classes when I travel, and this one truly stood out. Our instructor, Jane, was patient, engaging, and excellent at breaking each dish down step by step. We learned how to prepare four Vietnamese favorites: fresh papaya salad, fresh spring rolls, crispy savory pancakes, and the signature dish of Vietnam—beef phở. The flavors of the final dishes were authentic, vibrant, and honestly much easier to achieve than I had anticipated. As someone who works in the restaurant industry, I also really appreciated how clean, organized, and sanitary the teaching kitchen was. It made me completely comfortable eating the food we prepared. We found this class on Viator for around $28 per person and it lasted between 2-3 hours. The value far exceeded the price. Please note: we did not choose a pick-up or drop-off options as the local taxis (via Grab) are super easy, affordable and convenient. The experience was very. relaxed, educational, and we even got to sample their egg coffee from their coffee class. Thank you, Jane for that special treat. The egg coffee blew my mind. Delicious. They also have a coffee class we will be sure to check out. I did not grow up eating Vietnamese food and I was blown away on how delicious everything was during my visit to Vietnam. Thanks to this class, I can now at least bring a few flavors home with me. Thank you, Jane!

I always try to take a local cooking class when I travel, and this one in Da Nang ended up being one of my favorites. Our instructor, Jane, was incredibly patient and walked us through four classic Vietnamese dishes: papaya salad, fresh spring rolls, crispy savory pancakes, and a really flavorful Beef Pho. The class was easy to follow, hands-on, and the pacing was perfect. For a 3-hour session, the $28 price was a great value. They also run a coffee-making class, and we even got to sample their egg coffee—which was a fun surprise and really delicious. Overall, an enjoyable experience from start to finish. Great food, great teacher, and a great way to dive into local Vietnamese cooking. Highly recommend!

I only give one star as the hostess was really nice and we had a fun evening. Unfortunately, the whole thing had little to do with a real Vietnamese cooking class. The course lasted only about 2 hours, contrary to the description we were not picked up. The dishes were very monotonous – almost everything was cooked with the same base of fish sauce, sugar, garlic, chili and water. In terms of taste, it was therefore not very varied. In addition, fish or seafood were used almost exclusively, which makes it difficult if you don't like it. Quail eggs were also used, and pork, chicken and shrimp were mixed into the papaya salad at the same time – little to do with a typical Vietnamese cooking class. Hardly anything was explained, we could only do little ourselves and much was not shown to us. Instead of four dishes, we prepared only three, as the fourth (the pasta) was cooked by only one person. I have already done several cooking classes (this was my sixth) and this one was unfortunately by far the worst. You should try much harder when choosing the dishes and carrying them out – overall it seemed more like a mass handling than a cooking class.

Great instruction and conversation. Easy to follow with the guides help. Outstanding food crating 4 dishes. No visit to the market garden but just focusing on the cooking.

What an awesome experience! I signed up for a Farming, Market & Home Cooking Class not knowing what to expect, and it turned out to be amazing. The instructor JANE, was incredibly, professional and friendly, it felt more like spending time with a family friend than taking a class. I learned, laughed a lot, and tasted some of the best Vietnamese food I’ve ever had. I so loving every minute during the class. I highly recommend this to everyone who will visit Da Nang Vietnam 🇻🇳

This was a wonderful experience and Nhi, our cooking instructor is a truly fantastic person. Couldn't have asked for a better way to do this!

They didn't even give us the cooking class, the orchard was a gentleman with an azadon planting vegetables, and the one who wanted foot massage paid for it apart. We ate little and badly. Wasted time that we could take advantage of instead of other very interesting things that are in the area. The Dragon Bridge, the Hand Bridge... There was no time.

My family and I had a good time on this tour. Lyn our guide was friendly and informative and made us feel welcome. The highlights for us were meeting the lovely people in the garden and cooking some delicious food. A point off is due to the rather large size of the group we were put in making the kitchen a little squeezy and though the market part was interesting, no coffee was provided and we had to buy our own water.

We have wonderful time starting from farming experience, touring local market to authentic cooking. The coach is cheerful and the overall experience is fun. A memorable experience highly recommended!

Ms Lyn is extremely welcoming and makes you feel very comfortable during the whole experience. You have will discover culture while having fun . Dont doubt about taking this class, for me , amazing.
