It was a great trip with sightings of sea lions and even orcas!

Great experience with Mel our zodiac boat guide. Always unpredictable when looking for wildlife. Managed to see a humpbacked whale, along with sea lions, seals and golden eagles. The best part is the laws here prevent whale chasing. Each company keeps in touch so they know where to look.

The captain was super friendly and had an excellent sense of humor! We felt very safe in the boat with him. We saw a group of approximately 15-20 orcas, we were very lucky and it was spectacular!! We also saw a black bear with her cub. We saw many sea lions. It was THE BEST DAY of our entire trip!!!

One whale ghosted us. The other one was shy and didn‘t want to show his tale. But that didn‘t matter because we had such a great time! Our captain Bex was fantastic! We loved our tour from start to end. We were able to see whales, sea lions, seals and quite a few birds. Bex gave a lot of informations, identified the whales and was able to name them and she made it a fun tour by doing donuts. All in all it was amazing and we‘d do it again in a heartbeat! Thanks to the whole team!

What a great experience! From start to finish, we were impressed with the friendliness, expertise and organization of every staff member. We were greeted upon arrival and directed to a very comfortable waiting area with nearby bathroom facilities. Getting dressed in warm gear was easy and we were soon on our way. The zodiac was very comfortable and all 12 passengers had a great view. Zoe, our captain and guide, was very knowledgeable and provided lots of interesting information about the whales as well as anecdotes about the areas we travelled through. During our tour we saw seals, orcas and humpbacks and Zoe answered any questions we had. We were even able to listen to some of the whale “conversations”. Zoe angled the boat to ensure everyone could see and take photos. Once we returned to the dock, she debriefed the group, showing us the route we had followed on the map, Although I have gone on a number of whale watching tours in the past, this was my favourite . We are so happy we chose Campbell River Whale Watching and Adventure Tours.

This trip was fantastic! Not only did we see four whales feeding and a colony of seals, but the fast inflatable boat made the ride itself thrilling. The scenery around Campbell River’s islands and waterways was stunning, and our captain’s commentary was both fun and informative (plus the cookies were a nice touch!). A brilliant four hours I’d highly recommend.

Great tour. We saw orca, seals and humpbacks and there was plenty of time to take photos and just watch these amazing animals living their best life. The guide was very knowledgable and provided lots of information about the animals and the area. They provide big warm flotation suits but the zodiac goes very fast so it gets chilly. I recommend taking gloves and wearing something warm even if it's sunny.

We went out for the 4 hour tour in perfect sunny, calm weather yesterday with Jarek, who took us to see some Orcas that came really close to the boat, and then we saw some Sea lions, Bald Eagles and Harbour seals, doing a big loop back to Cambell River. We also saw Humpbacks right at the very end. The whole trip was fantastic, and just speeding along in the boat was fun in its own right. Jared was really knowledgeable and enthusiastic, which, when you're doing it 2-3 times a day, says something.

We had the pleasure of going out with Jarek twice, and both trips were absolutely fantastic. The first time, the weather was rough and could have easily ruined the day, but Jarek’s enthusiasm, knowledge, and fun energy turned it into a memorable adventure. He went out of his way to help us find wildlife and kept everyone engaged and smiling despite the conditions. When we returned for another trip, we were lucky enough to get Jarek again—and he went above and beyond to make sure we had the best experience possible. His dedication and determination paid off, and we got to see orcas up close on the second trip, which was truly unforgettable. If you’re going whale watching, I can’t recommend Jarek highly enough. He’s passionate, professional, and makes the experience both exciting and enjoyable no matter what the circumstances. Go Bills!!!
