Great crew, great time. Group of 8. Plenty of rafts and flotation devices for everyone. Crew was friendly and helpful.

Crab Island was a blast! Our captain and deck hand were full of great energy and made the whole experience unforgettable. They kept us safe, kept us laughing, and made sure we had everything we needed. 3‑hours was just right, and the boat was stocked with helpful amenities including a toilet, floats, lily pads, and cold bottled water. I’m not usually one to get into open water, but I felt so comfortable that I stayed in the water the entire time. Food and drink vendors were everywhere, and the captain could call them right over. We’ll book with this company again for our next Crab Island adventure.

It was very much a party boat. People were drinking (obviously drunk), vaping and smoking weed. Dancing was a little risqué ;) Staff was nice. If I had gone with other adults would not have been a big deal, but not what I wanted my impressionable kids to witness.

Super fun, took my girlfriend out in the water and the weather was perfect! Be sure to check the tide charts before you book! There are also food boats out in the water

Great atmosphere! These guys are awesome. Reservation was easy and no long wait to check in. We traveled with our family they had a blast!

Took the 10am excursion with Capt. Joey and First Mate Sydney. We got rained out and Capt. Joey was very diligent in watching the weather, etc to endure our safety! We were able to get on the 2pm excursion with the same crew and it did not disappoint! However, would highly recommend a morning excursion when the water is crystal clear vs. the afternoon and the sand is all stirred from the tide. Crab island is a must see! Excursion provided bottled water and some floaties and lily pads. You can bring your own cooler and snacks. All staff were so helpful and friendly. We highly recommend. Note: it’s not really an island but a sandbar. And is usually pretty crowded (but not super) at any time of day.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay! The views from our suite were absolutely spectacular, and the accommodations exceeded our expectations. Pelican resort is in a great location. The suite was clean, spacious, comfortable, and well-appointed, making it the perfect place to relax. We would definitely book this suite again and highly recommend it to others. One suggestion that could make the guest experience even better would be to offer beach towels like most resorts. Along with inexpensive beach chairs/umbrella and collapsible wagons. With a replacement fee if lost or destroyed. This would be a wonderful convenience for travelers, eliminating the need to purchase these items for a short stay and then leave them behind at the end of their vacation. It would be a practical, eco-friendly amenity that many guests would truly appreciate.
