Paula, our guide, was excellent, full of archeological knowledge, and humorous. Our driver, however, was on his phone constantly while driving, which was unsettling the whole drive. Lunch in the cave was an unique experience and you're seated together with the group of people on the shared tour. Food was delicious.
They picked us up at our hotel and guide and driver was so nice and helpful! I would recommend this excursion.

Amazing tour, picked up from airbnb, smooth driving, learned about the agave plant, obsidian stone, taste some mezcal. Tour guide she was wonderful explained to us everything she new and walked up through it all, she also recommend a restaurant worth it.
The tour is exactly as described: at the obsidian workshop, tour of the archeological site, and stop at La Gruts Cave restaurant (note cost of lunch not included). The obsidian artisans showed beautiful work and the stop was informative and enjoyable. There is an on site gift/souvenir shop that had items suited for different budgets, but there we felt not pressure from the operators at all. The driver, Pablo, arrived on time and was kind and patient. The guide, were very knowledgable, thoughtful, and was enthusiastic about sharing the history of Teotihuacán. The tour was timed well - we did not feel rushed at all, the guides were helpful and relaxed. After a day of adventure we were dropped off at our hotel right on time.
