Had a great time doing the Masai Mara safari. Our guide Jackson was fantastic and very knowledgeable! We managed to see the big 5 within about 90 minutes of arriving! Would highly recommend, especially if you get Jackson as a guide!
Memorable Masai Mara Our 3 days Masai Mara Safari had been incredible. And the man behind this incredible show was our guide and driver Saddam and Vooh. He made the best use of our time and his expertise to spot the big 5 besides other animals and made us feel the breathtaking Masai Mara at its best. Our trip was organized by Axis Africa Safari. I must praise this company for their well organized arrangements and our stay in Mara Chui Resort was also highly satisfactory. I will certainly recommend Axis Africa Safari and Saddam to my friends and families interested in experiencing safaries in Kenya.
Our Maasai Mara trip was truly an unforgettable experience, and a huge part of that credit goes to our wonderful driver and guide, Saddam and Vooh. From the beginning, Saddam and Vooh was extremely friendly, supportive, and professional. They were especially wonderful with my 7-year-old son, making him feel comfortable and keeping him engaged throughout the journey. Their friendly nature and positive attitude made us feel like we were travelling with someone we had known for a long time. Saddam and Vooh is very knowledgeable and understands the Maasai Mara incredibly well. Saddam is also well connected with other guides in the reserve, which made a big difference during our game drives. We were extremely lucky to see lions, a group of lionesses, lion cubs, a leopard, cheetahs, elephants, giraffes, hyenas, and many more beautiful animals. What impressed me the most was Saddam's ability to spot wildlife and understand exactly where to take us. At times, I was genuinely amazed at how he could identify the exact location and get us there at the right moment. Thanks to his experience and efforts, I was able to capture some of the best photographs and videos of our entire trip. The driving was smooth, the journey was comfortable, and every game drive was exciting. Saddham was always patient, supportive, and willing to make the extra effort to give us the best possible experience. I must say, Saddam and Vooh were the best guides you could have for a Maasai Mara safari. Thank you Axis Africa for assigning them for our trip. They made our family trip truly special and turned it into a lifetime experience that we will always remember. Thank you, Saddam and Vooh, for making our Maasai Mara adventure so wonderful. His deep knowledge of the landscape, plant life, and animal behavior is incredible, but his expertise goes far beyond tracking wildlife: Insider Connections: Kelvin's strong professional relationships with other drivers and park staff unlocked special, unique viewing opportunities we otherwise would have missed. Thoughtful Touches: Every day featured a picturesque picnic lunch set up under a stunning, shaded tree in the wild. Warm Hospitality: Kind, thoughtful, and bringing a wealth of experience, Kelvin ensured we felt safe, engaged, and well cared for every single day. If you are considering a safari, book with Axis without hesitation. We will be recommending Jackie, Kelvin, and the whole Axis team to all of our friends and family! I have only 1 critique. The beds at Mara Chui Resort were so hard it was like sleeping on a dining room table. You may want to pick a different resort or bring your own mattress.
Our guide was amazing and so experienced! We saw so many more animals than expected. It was exciting and exhilarating to see these animals so close and in the wild. Our guide also found us hidden gems - he read the posture of the hyenas which then led us to 2 sleeping lions - we were the only other ones there, which really made it special!
Fantastic experience with Axis in terms of service, accuracy, follow up, value for money. A huge tks to our guide Tom (Kikambala) that with his experience has lead the tour in the best way reaching the target of big five in only one full day game drive. It’s tru that animals have to collaborate, but the leopard doesn’t like this part of the job and if we’ve meet the big cat we have to say a huge tra to Tom, that has driven fast and safely in the middle of nowhere. We have met also chetaah during his hunting and thousands of wild beast and zebra. The Masai Mara land scape is unique and take the breath away, especially with the right company and guide that make you feel safe.

We went to a 3 day safari in Masai Mara. This park is amazing and I have been to several before. Kelvin our guide was great. H is very knowledgeable and knows the park so well that he can get you to see the rare animals before dozen other cars arrive. 100% recommended
The professionalism started with clear communication by Lucy, who provided all the options and details I would need, then continued with Collins with a perfect morning pick-up and tour in the city of Nairobi. Then the best safari experience was with Dickson, his 15 years of experience made us see all what we wanted in the safari, his positive energy fueled our day. I would definitely recommend this trip with Dickson and I will do it again in the future.
