We had a wonderful experience with Soul Surfing Maui. They had all 3 of us (2 kids and 1 adult) up surfing immediately and were very attentive while we were in the water. Everyone had a great time and the pictures we received were fantastic as well.

The instructors took exceptional care of our whole family, especially our two young kids, making everyone feel safe, confident, and supported every step of the way. As complete beginners, we appreciated their patience, encouragement, and personalized attention. By the end of the lesson, we were all standing up on our boards and having an amazing time. If you’ve ever wanted to try surfing as a family, this is the perfect place to start. They turned what could have been an intimidating experience into one of the highlights of our Maui vacation—and maybe the beginning of a lifelong passion!

Cain was absolutely amazing. If you’re new to surfing, this is the place to learn. Brian was responsive to all our communication within minutes. We all came in nervous and immediately felt at ease. Highly recommend.

Brian and Eric were fantastic. Our three kids had a blast and got up on the boards and surfed the full 90 minutes! Brian made a wise choice to postpone our surf session a day bc the weather turned and wasn’t safe- we were glad he was able to accommodate us the following morning. They were so nice and communicated well to know what to expect and where to meet. Thank you! We love the photos too! Highly recommend!

Great lesson and experience with Brian for our first time surfing. It was myself 53 year old dad, 22 year old daughter and 19 year old son. From the minute we booked, communication was excellent with specific directions on where to meet up and what to expect. Brian was great in providing detail to help each of us improve as the session went on. Would highly recommend without hesitation, mahalo!

Highly recommend Brian and his team for family surf lessons. It was myself, husband, daughter (12) and son (10.) Brian and Cain were incredibly kind, patient and so encouraging with my children and us parents too. We all loved it, the kids have definitely caught the surf bug. The location is wonderful as well- waves felt really safe for first time surfing. It was an incredible experience!

A friend of ours had recommended Soul Surfing for our family trip in Maui. We had a great experience with Brian. He taught both myself, my husband and my 11 and 17-year-old children to surf. Fun, and super safe.Definitely one of the highlights of our trip!

Brian at Soul Surfing gave us exactly the surfing experience we were hoping for on our Maui vacation. He went above and beyond by helping us reschedule when the waves weren’t ideal, then fit us in last minute when our schedule opened up. He was fantastic with our three kids, getting each of them up and surfing while making the lesson fun and encouraging. Along the way, he shared a ton of local knowledge and surfing tips that made the experience even better. We also loved that Soul Surfing isn’t a huge tour operation. The small, personal experience made all the difference, and we never felt like just another group. Brian and Shaun were amazing teachers for the kids ages 10 & 12. They were patient and the kids each got up and surfed on the first try. Much appreciate the flexibility and willingness to work with us.

Brian was friendly, clear in instructions, and extremely positive in his critique and praise. We went in a foursome with three adults and a seventeen year-old, and seeing my niece glow with excitement from Brian’s encouragement was the highlight of our Maui trip! I highly, highly recommend!
