The accommodation during the trek was basic, but that was expected. After walking all day, we were more interested in getting some food and resting than looking for luxury. The meals were good and the guides were helpful. The experience was about the trail, and the trail was fantastic.

The Moment Machu Picchu became real
For most of the trek, Machu Picchu felt like a destination on a schedule. Then suddenly we were getting closer, and the reality hit me: we'd actually crossed the mountains on foot to get there.

I Underestimated the Downhill
I thought the difficult part would be climbing. Then came the long downhill section. My legs discovered muscles I didn't know existed. The guide kept reminding us not to rush, which was excellent advice.

A life-changing journey
Walking into Machu Picchu after 4 days of hard trekking felt so much more rewarding than taking the train. An experience I’ll treasure forever.

Incredible trekking experience
Our guide and the trekking chefs were superheroes. They prepared hot, gourmet 3-course meals in remote campsites. The views of Humantay Lake on Day 1 were breathtaking. Highly recommend this 4D3N format!

Professional guides and pristine nature.
I still don’t know how the chefs cooked such incredible food at 4,000 meters altitude. The group vibe was fantastic, and the campsites were clean and beautifully located. 10/10!
