Salkantray excellent attention, service, fulfillment, and wonderful work team

Hello, A clarification for this trek: in July-August it is crowded; the ascent of the Salkantay pass (day 2) is made painful by countless mules and horses that guides often lead through without regard for the "pedestrians" who have to step aside to let them pass. The horses are mistreated, and suffering on this path with large rocks. We saw a dead horse, presumably put down after breaking its legs on the path. When we did the path to Lucmabamba (day 3) we had to go through very dangerous rockslides, the path having collapsed after unusual rains for the dry season. In principle, the groups were instructed to avoid these passages and take the road. You must therefore be vigilant and not hesitate to turn back.

Absolutely brilliant experience from the rocks of machu pichu to the railways of Salkantay everything was exceptional from the encouragement all the way to the overnight experience looking at the stars can’t wait to do something like this again 5/5 .

Super fun atmosphere and great group of people. Our tour guide was also super nice and accommodating. We had an awesome time, definitely a challenging hike.

This experience is incredible, thanks to the whole team of guides and especially the head chef who accompanies us. I didn't think I could eat so well at 4600 m on top of a mountain and throughout all the days. Special mention to the guide: Elisban and Saoul ❤️👌

Very interesting and very fun trekking! Our guide was always very attentive, trying to provide us with every possible comfort. We recommend this trek because the places we saw are magnificent and if you are lucky like us to end up in a good group, new friendships are created! Although it was tiring in some places, the last day at Machu Picchu makes up for everything!!

This was a wonderful tour, from the beginning stages to the very end and our drop off in Cusco. Our lead guide Wilo assisted by Freddy were simply amazing! Gourmet food, comfortable accommodations . Machu Picchu is a must see.
