Small intimate tours are the best way to go for wildlife. We ran into a superpod of dolphins of at least 2000+ it was magical. I hope my videos show up. You have a lot better chance of seeing things, you have a lot better chance for taking pictures. Because there's less people or running around a big boat. It's a much more personal experience. I would never go back to the large boat tours. Jason was very knowledgeable.

My husband and I had so much fun with Adventure Whale Watching! Captain Jason was super knowledgeable and helped us spot some cool wildlife. We actually got surrounded by a mega pod of dolphins. It was magical! We even made a sea lion friend along the way. The boat is the perfect size and only takes out 6 passengers. It basically feels like a private charter! We will definitely be back. Maybe next time we will be lucky enough to see a blue whale.

Well, we didn’t see a whale or a dolphin but the boat ride was 🔥🔥🔥! Captain Rick is awesome. He’s very knowledgeable and easy to listen to. We did see loads of flying fish (I didn’t know that was a real thing until today), a big ol’ Devil Ray (Manta Ray family) leapt out of the water, a HUGE Ocean Sunfish, and the cutest sea lions. I would 1000% go again even if I knew I wouldn’t see any whales or dolphins! Thanks, Cap’n Rick! We had a swell time with ya!!!

We didn't see any whales but not for lack of trying. The captain was very nice, he kept us informed of where we were. The ocean was a bit rough at times, so he kept checking on us to make sure we were alright or if we wanted to head back. Shot up to the other passengers that didn't get upset and wanted to continue looking for whales. I would go again. Great experience.

The tour was great. Captain Colleen was knowledgeable and fun. We saw multiple large pods of dolphins, sea lions, and many birds. Highly recommend!

Highly recommended! The RIBs are a great way to go whale watching, closer to the water with a small group of people and thus good opportunity to learn from the guide. With higher speed to go to the location where you best spot whales, you get to sieve more time viewing (for) the whales. The smaller sized boat also means less disturbance for marine life. Capt Kyle certainly knows his stuff, was enthusiastic himself about seeing the 4 fin whales we encountered.

The whole experience was tremendous. Great communication ahead of time, the ride, the dolphins - no notes. 10 out of 10.

We went out with Captain Ben and had an amazing trip. At first we saw just sea lions, but when we spotted dolphins in the distance, it turned out to be a large group of dolphin pods swimming together. Saw dozens of them, if not close to a hundred. There were babies, too—-so adorable. We didn’t get to see any whales, but the sheer amount of dolphins we encountered and the close proximity to them made it all worthwhile.

Being in a small boat close to the water made interacting with the dolphins was incredible. We came in contact with a dolphins pod consisting of 50 dolphins. You could talk and interact with them. The captain was increfible

We’ve been on 3 different whale watching trips in San Diego. This is the company you want. Captain Kyle is very knowledgeable, experienced and fun! We had a wonderful experience. Would definitely book with them again!
