He’s not just a tour guide, he’s a Puerto Rico Representive. Hector was nothing short of fantastic. He was truly passionate about everything he had to say. He shared stories about his life and the things he enjoys. He was excellently knowledgeable in everything he said and he was funny. He showed us his childhood home along with providing us a delicious meal from a restaurant he loves. He took amazing pictures of me and my wife and even took me down to the bottom of a cave. I enjoyed every second with him and I can’t wait to come back and do a future tour with him when I visit this beautiful island

Our guide, Hector, was an amazing host! Right from the start he kindly introduced himself and announced that we would be having a private tour for our group of 3! That was a win for us! Hector is top-notch on everything he spoke about and shows a truly deep love for his PR culture and filled us with many great stories about the history of the island. He is very entertaining and goes the extra mile to make sure his guests feel comfortable and don’t over exert themselves during the hot PR day. First stop was Cueva Del Indio we hiked up through rocky paths up the mountain to the entrance of the cave, to explore the sacred indigenous site. We also enjoyed beautiful views of 7 natural rock arches as we walked through, with the amazing blue ocean in the background. It is a must visit to this historic site. Hector enlightened us to the fact that this was where parts of Pirates of the Caribbean was filmed. He also took photos for all of us! Hector provided water and snacks for our ride to the second phase which was through the central mountain region in the city of Ciales, where we saw many panoramic views and coffee farms. Stopped at a kiosk area were we had coffee and various drinks, appetizers and purchased some of the delicious coffee beans to bring home! Hector shared many interesting details about the area. We then headed out to go eat lunch (provided) at one of Hectors favorite places and it did not disappoint, all delicious PR selections. Last stop Mar Chiquita Beach in Manatí. It’s a truly unique beach, crystal clear and away from the all the crowded spots you find closer to the San Juan area. Hector dropped us off and handed each of us beach chairs and gave us time to be back at the car. And we enjoyed this beautiful place, great beverages in hand that we purchased at the kiosks on the beach (we had several). And the beach water was absolutely refreshing under the PR sun. Great experiences all the way around!! 5⭐️ will definitely book with Hector again.

Hector was an amazing guide and we had a fantastic time! Great local cuisine, insight for notable recommendations and history around the island, and plenty of time at each spot to soak it in and enjoy. Would highly recommend!

What an incredible experience! Hector was an amazing tour guide! So knowledgeable about the history of Puerto Rico. He made it fun too! It was well worth the money to take this tour! The 3 in 1 sites were breathtaking. Food was amazing! Stopped at a cafe with exceptional coffee. The cave and ocean views were absolutely beautiful! Wow! What a tour! Hector was awesome! The meeting place was easy to get to. Hector had everything ready to go for the day with cold waters, snacks, chairs for the beach, etc. He had such a great personality with so much knowledge and passion for his hometown! The first stop at the cave was just such a spectacular view. If you are claustrophobic, going into the cave opening may not be for you, which it wasn't for me but thoroughly enjoyed every aspect of the area! The scenic drive was really a great way to see a bit of the island and learn many things along the way as well. The road side stop for coffee was quite the treat and oh so scrumptious with a beautiful view! The stop for lunch at a local restaurant was great! The food was just delicious and the locals so nice! The last stop at the beach was really breathtaking and a wonderful spot to just relax and enjoy. Hector gave you plenty of time to swim, snorkel, etc. He was even kind enough to drop everyone back off at the end of the tour to their hotels or Airbnbs! I highly recommend this tour! You will absolutely love it! Such a perfect day and Hector is just the best. This tour made our first visit to Puerto Rico exactly what we were hoping for and can't wait to visit again!

We booked with Hector and he was absolutely amazing! He made me and my friends feel super welcomed and was so helpful throughout the tour. He recommend places to eat and go, brought to local places for food and coffee which were amazing!! He was also very knowledgeable about places we were visiting which made it super interesting. Towards the end he also brought back to Airbnb which was very nice of him. Highly recommend his tour!!!!

We had an amazing time with Hector and seeing so much of Puerto Rico that we wouldn’t have known to go to. The history and ins and outs of just life on the island. He was so informed and helpful with all our questions. All the food and drinks were on point. The offering of more things for the adventurous travelers versus reluctant travelers was perfect so parts of our group could go and the rest of us could stay put.

We had an amazing cave and beach tour with MarreroPR Tours! Our guide, Hector, was incredibly talkative, knowledgeable, informative, attentive, and friendly. From the moment we met him, he made us feel more like primos (family) than tourists. We had a small inconvenience during the tour, but Hector went above and beyond to make it right, and his dedication to making sure we had a great experience really stood out. The stops were nice, the food was delicious, and climbing inside Cueva del Indio was an absolute must!
