We loved our experience with Peru Hop! We did the 3-day, 2-night tour from Lima to Paracas and Huacachina, and everything was well organized from start to finish. Communication was easy and clear. Once our trip was confirmed, Peru Hop used WhatsApp to keep us updated. The day before, we were added to our Host Leader group chat with Sergio, our host. Throughout the trip, he shared our itinerary, photos, restaurant menus so we could pre-order meals, and—most importantly—our bus’s live location for pickup. Our first day started right on schedule. Unfortunately, we did experience a maintenance issue with the bus at our first stop. The driver attempted to fix it, but after about 20 minutes, we were told it couldn’t be repaired. Sergio immediately coordinated with Peru Hop to get us a new bus. While we waited, he also arranged an impromptu Peruvian dance and horse performance at the restaurant, giving everyone a chance to enjoy the property, see the farm animals, relax in hammocks, and play games. About an hour and a half later, we were back on the road and continued to the Slave Tunnels before arriving in Paracas. Day two was packed with activities. We started early with the Ballestas Islands boat tour, and the early wake-up was definitely worth it! Afterward, we headed to the Paracas National Reserve, which was beautiful, followed by lunch and a Pisco wine tasting. Then it was off to Huacachina for our dune buggy and sandboarding excursion. We even got to enjoy the sunset with a little wine before heading back! On our final day, we had some free time to enjoy Huacachina at our own pace. We slept in a little, explored the small town, ate, and relaxed by the pool before our scheduled pickup. Overall, this was a fun and well-organized tour that my husband and I really enjoyed. Despite the unexpected bus issue, the Peru Hop team handled it quickly and professionally. We would definitely recommend Peru Hop to anyone looking to explore Peru!

I booked this trip from PeruHop as it seemed like a good well put together package for my last few days in Peru. It was a convenient way to go to Paracas and Huacachina. These 3 days were incredible. Thanks to our guide, Miguel, with whom we could not have had all the information we needed for the smooth running and completeness of the tour. His Spanish/English bilingualism is crazy, and guys, no worries, if you speak French, you will understand in English. That was the case for us with an average level. The tours are well thought out and well organized. Despite the addition and loss of some travelers at each stop, the group remains very friendly with a good dynamic. Sergio was an absolute star on this trip, from start to finish he made sure everyone was having a great time and was well informed on Peru’s history and culture. The trip was a well oiled machine from Peru hop and we were sad to leave the bus behind when we departed. Also shout out to pablo who kept up the good vibes back to Lima when we were all a bit sleepy and tired. Would use again for sure.
