The trip on the boat was pleasent and relaxing. The services were up to the top and the staff was gentle and caring. We didnt need anything since the staff was providing such a wonderful job. Special tanks to Jess, she was taking care of our time in the restaurant and always kept an eye on our table to make sure everything was alright. Tha k you Jess.
Would recommend the Orchid Cruises. The meals are phenomenal and the service is exceptional. Views outside the boat on sunny days and overcast are beautiful. Worth the travel time to get here! Jess was very attentive and lovely :)
We chose this specific cruises for less crowded itinerary. It was pretty quiet and serene but in my opinion one night would be more than enough because although it offered different activities two different days i don’t think another night would be necessary. Overall food qualities pretty decent and crews were very hard to accommodate guests’ needs. I wish there were more night activities other than squid fishing because there were nothing showing on TV and no WiFi.
Best for a relaxing, all hands-off view of Lan Ha bay, with fewer tourists, more personalization, and plenty of activities without strenous effort. Overall, the staff were extremely friendly and would love to make conversation; you can learn a lot about the culture here, history, and heritage through them. Service staff Lucas was very helpful in making changes to the menu as requested, Fiora provided personalizations for a couple experience, and the tour guide Mr. Bắng was an absolutely wonderful host, with plenty of jokes and professionalism.

Wow, how amazing was this trip. The boat was sensational beyond the 5 star we were expecting. The food was delicious and kept coming, foodies would love this cruise. Our favorite servers were Gin and Jenny who looked after us like we were Kings and Queens. Mel the cruise director was so knowledgeable and friendly he taught us to make spring rolls and was always quick with a dad joke. Nothing is ever too much for these guys

Trendy cruise boat is smaller, so you’ll only be about 30 aboard, 40 max. Service is impeccable, one of the best I’ve experienced in all my years of traveling. We loved our server Lucas and Mr. Mel, who made us well-cared for. The boat, while a bit on the older side, is immaculately clean, well-maintained, and sailed smoothly. Food was top-notch. It was a thoroughly relaxing trip. Halong Bay views are stunning. Highly recommend. Wish we could’ve stayed longer!

The cruise ship is smaller than usual so you can be around 30 pax per trip. Service is impeccable. We love Lucas and Mr. Mel. They make you feel well-cared for. The ship while a little older, is well-maintained, very clean, with smooth sailing. Highly recommend! Wish we could stay longer. Halong Bay is stunning!
