Photos are misleading, you are going to be in a coral filled area. We barely saw any animals and not only that we didn’t even see any colorful fish. The tequila tasting photo is misleading. We had broken masks and were swallowing the salt water due to this problem. We were told to follow the line but when you’re in the water it’s hard to see where the line is actually going. You get stuck behind people going the wrong way and not to mention going over the coral instead of around it. This was a scary experience and wasn’t fun at all. We had to walk through thick seaweed to get on and off the boat up to the waist. Multiple people experienced water going up their masks and goggles fogging up. The instructor told us to put our saliva in the googles to prevent fogging and that did absolutely nothing. We were cramped on a boat the photos made it see more private. The beachside lunch was a three big pieces of cold fried chicken on a flour tortilla….. we didn’t receive a menu. When I booked this trip I remembered seeing a photo of a lunch menu and when I looked back it was gone. Just don’t waste your time.

Such a wonderful experience! Maui, Francis, Jackie, and the entire team were so welcoming and kind from start to finish. We booked the VIP snorkeling experience along with the tequila tasting, and it was honestly one of the highlights of our trip. Everyone was attentive, knowledgeable, and clearly loves what they do. We got to see a nurse shark, which was incredible, and the photos turned out amazing. Having them taken by a former National Geographic photographer was such a cool bonus. The whole experience was beautiful, fun, and so freeing. I would definitely recommend booking this excursion without hesitation. My only suggestion is to bring your own snorkeling gear, especially goggles, if you have them, just to make sure they fit comfortably.

The guide landy and her colleague/camera man were great ,friendly and attentive. tequila tasting with Francis was fabulous. The little restaurant where they served tacos was nice . Great excursion however they will not allow you to bring your go pro to record your snorkle experience . They're guide will take pictures that you will have to pay for later if you want them .

They could not pick me up at my hotel, so I had to get to downtown Playa del Carmen on my own. The reef is wonderful. There was a lot of sun, which allowed us to see many colors and fish in the surrounding area. The guides were very kind and explained the rules for entering the natural habitat of all these creatures. It was worth going into the sea. Other activities they have on land are also fun. The food is okay, although they could serve more generous portions. The transportation could also be improved.

Don't bother booking with these con artists. That was the worst trip ever, I'm just about to put it all over the internet, you pick up a 5ft10 girl and a 6ft2 man from Hyatt vivid and we have to ride all the way to the snorkeling on an illegal front middle seat and a front seat without working seatbelts. We get to the snorkeling, and it's the worse snorkeling we've ever done. This may be the 2nd biggest reef but your location is a sea meadow, absolutely rubbish. 20 mins of swimming through seaweed and with only seagrass to sea and barely any life. Murky and pointless Get back and rhey beg tips off us when we've already paid over £100 for two, for a terrible snorkeling experience. Absolute chaos. We arrived uncomfortable and with nerve pain from the cramped seated and hot engine seat with no air conditioning. We then are forced into a tequila tasting we were happy to skip. All an exercise to force us to buy more things. The free time walking the town isn't free time it is forcing us through market stalls to be pestered. No free time as stated. Off to the restaurant, and no vegan options. Food was disgusting then more sob stories for tips. Kept you there for an undue amount of time with nothing to do and uncomfortable. Had to pay 3 dollar for a water. Only one free water given between 820am and 4pm! Finally get on the bus to go back to the hotel. No air con, forced again on a tiny seat in the front over the engine as the bus was rammed and over sold. Can't not put legs anywhere ..bruised at every bump. I notice we are 5 th stop so took ages. Unbearable When asked to go into the back when others exited, the driver said no after the first people left. Get to the 2nd hotel and the manager comes out and says there has been an accident and police guards are there... We are then forced into back!!!! So the police don't see... But refused when we begged! The driver then drives us in and the hotel man reminds him to put his seatbelt on!!! In the phone the whole journey, music with swear words blasting out. I am livid, no decent snorkeling, no town free time, and no lunch and agony in a van in illegal seats and no air con. this is not as described. Both me and my husband are disgusted. We are both still in this hell bus and now the driver has to go back as he's just completely missed a guests stop. Worst trip ever. Tips begged by everyone, no photos allowed even though go pros are not lithium. All to sell photos of things you don't get to see! Avoid. Customer services doesn't care at all.

The service was exceptional along with the tequila. The dolphins were extraordinary considering the water type. The water was clear and overall i would rate this a 9.5/10. I took that point away because of the ride was a little bumpy but this was worth 60$.

Friendly staff. Snorkel site was not the best. Ideal for beginners. Our smaller children had a blast however, even in less than ideal conditions.

The tour was one of the best snorkeling experiences I’ve ever been on! There was a fantastic array of different sea creatures like turtles and stingrays, as well as a fantastic variety of information that made the tour very magical. Can’t thank Yas, Manuel and the team enough, they truly made today epic and I would not recommend a better service provider for the likes!

Great excursion, Good value for the price, tacos were great. DO NOT buy the VIP package. You will be satisfied with the basic option. They will help you out just as much and the extra price isnt worth the extra taco. As for the different location they offer with the VIP upgrade, as they say themselves, they cannot make the fish be in certain places so dont buy into the hype that you will see certain fish at the other location. There is no gaurantee

Snorkeling is tough! But it was fun. I would do it again now that I know how to do it lol but my husband had a blast. Maui was an awesome guide and Charley was a great photographer. Driver came quick to our hotel and on time.
