We were in town for a wedding and only had 1 day to sightsee and were a group of 7, ranging in age from 10-69. We took the metro from our AirBB to Prata so the kids could experience the amusement park. The hop-on-hop-off person stationed there was named Stella and she was extremely helpful, spending about 20 minutes helping us plan our day….There was not time to see everything, but we were very happy with our experience.

Good choice for solo tourism or group, we didi it during a business activity

Scam be very careful when spending a lot of money on this scam, you will receive a QR code then the bus driver will advise you to print off paper tickets at the cruise office, when you get to the cruise office the people will tell you you need a special ticket from the bus driver for the cruise portion of the trip, we were so angry as we had our 10 year old daughter with us, I tried to contact Viator and they refused to help or offer any sort of compensation as the bus tour company wouldn’t approve it. Be very careful or you will lose a lot of money, the tour cost us £175 for 3 people and we weren’t able to use the main part of the tour very very disappointing and very angry with Viators response.

Good to do at start of holiday to get an idea of the city and some basic information. The walking tour was very good as well.

We did the hop on hop off five in one combo which included two palaces, a river, cruise, and a ride on the Vienna wheel. I thought overall it was worth it.

Nikola was so helpful is recommending options that suited us and we really enjoyed both over the 2 days we had in Vienna. The hop on: hop off tour is an excellent way to see Vienna, especially in 38° heat! Nikola also recommended the longer boat tour, which had so many options for times, and we avoided the queues! The boat tour contained something that was a unique experience for us. We really enjoyed it.

We did the hop on hop off the trolley Ferris wheel and the Danube river cruise. The bus drivers were professional, helpful, and outstanding with navigating the the city. My only suggestion on that would be to know when you get off at a stop if the attraction that you’re going to see is open or not other than that you need to wait for the next bus to come. The Danube cruise they drop you at top 10, but you need to walk down to pair six and go in the building to get your ticket to avoid the cruise. It was nice to say that you went on the Danube but you spent a lot of time waiting for the canal to be water levels to be lowered so that you could enter the canal. The staff on the cruise are friendly. They offered food and beverage, but the cruise is really not long enough for that type of service. The Ferris wheel was very good. You were in a trolley car and you got up to see some amazing sites and views of the city of Vienna. They do take your picture before you get on the trolley like when you go to any other attraction. It’s a suggestible offering and most people end up getting it before you get on the trolley you walk to similar to an amusement park with different rides. They even have a gelato shop. My husband and brother got their gelato and it was very very good. The hop on off off Bus tour with the Danube river, cruise, and the Ferris wheel in a trolley car is worth the money. .

The buses were late. We were not able to take the river cruse even though we had paid $ 95 .00. We could have taken the yellow hop-on hop off for only $ 25.00. The waiting time for yellow ones was much less.

I liked the headphone commentary on the bus & Federico Ariosto was very helpful & informative about timings to do other things so this was a big plus. However we thought the tour was overly long with not particularly interesting content for some of it. This was the red route.

The hop on hop off was okay and a good way to see the sights, but the buses are not as frequent as they said and they don't always show up. I also missed the walking tour as I was told the wrong time and the app/brochure/website have different times. They refused to refund or offer an alternative to the missed walking tour.
