We decided to try it our first day here. We waited for about an hour for a bus. We didnt realize there was a stop exactly across the street as well until we saw a bus come and go. We crossed over and picked up one there. The lasy talked us into a 48 hour pass. That would have been ok except she didnt mention there would be a scheduled bus driver strike the next day. That kind of sucked when we arrived the next day only to be told we were out of luck. So we got a solid 2 hours out of the 48 ticket.

Always enjoy the bus in different cities.
we always enjoy the bus in different cities. Even my own - Chicago! Can think of no better wya to learn about the city. The on-off feature allows you to spend time in various places.

Could not use due to bus strike, refund declined
I bought a 48 hour pass for my stay in Barcelona, for 22nd/23rd September.
I could not use my pass on 22nd as the buses were not operating due to a bus strike.
I asked for a refund and this was declined.
The ticket money was taken on 21st - surely the company were aware of the strike?
I then used the pass on 23rd and travelled 6 stops on the blue line. There was no commentary as the headphones/commentary were not working. Nobody else on the bus was wearing headphones.
This made it a very expensive single bus trip, ie £38.
Would I recommend or buy again, absolutely not.

As for the service, it is perfect, it is just that we did not see the eleuexiques the. You were going too fast a few times

Double check which tour bus you are on
Two types of hop on hop off created a lot of confusion and no one really knew what was going on. One said that they had ran out of buses. The other had to many people waiting, we waited for an hour and a half with no shade with tickets already purchased prior to the day. Anyone that has a ticket should be able to board first while others are in line to purchase. The stops are not clearly marked either. After trying to find a stop to get back on we took a taxi back to ship. Always have enjoyed this hop on hop off but this one was absolutely terrible

Bus Strike
The company was on strike! We could not go! I called and notified Viatour. They said i could try again when I return to Barcelona in two weeks

Good for sightseeing, Bad that Bus didn’t run Day 2
Day, one was very good. We saw all the sites. We were frustrated because the second day, the buses did not run. We were planning to use that as our mode of transportation both days we were there, but instead we had to pay for transportation on day two. We were told we could use our ticket on day three, but we were not there for three days. Very unfortunate and not a good way to do business.

Apparently there was a bus strike in certain bus companies in Barcelona. We were not informed of this before arriving in Barcelona and had to purchase 2 more hop on hop off tickets from another company

Bus strike
Bus drivers were on strike so our tickets were useless. I would like a refund, if possible. We cannot reschedule to tomorrow since we have other excursions.
