When I walked into Sweet Pete’s it was Amazing! Soo many beautiful fun colors and chandeliers decorations. . The tour was quick .and interesting information about how they make the candy in the store . 🍭 I will be back for the holidays candy classes. Fun Fun Fun 🍫🍫😎
I was disappointed that none of the machines were working. No one was making candy. An employee was making the create b your own candy bars, but there was nothing to looking at but machines.
The tour guide was interesting, I would have liked to have seen production in action.
I really enjoyed touring Sweet Pete’s candy shop. It was worth the no money for the in depth tour and being able to design and eat my own candy bar. There is so much candy to choose from too.
This was fun. The guide was great and interactive.
Will was experienced, insightful, and had a great spirit. A family was a bit late in joining us and he went back to them at the end to go over what they missed. That’s attention to detail. He loves what he does and it shows. If only more people realized the importance of loving what you do…
Such a fun place to visit while on vacation! So many places for unique photo ops, learned a great deal about candy making, and the staff was very friendly. I wish we had more time, we would have loved to take a candy class. Please help support this local business!
Cute tour of the small chocolate factory with history or building and company ownership. Gives you something to do and price is good.
We began our experience with lunch at the mansion before our tour. Menu was reasonably priced. Food was good. Wonderful tour and historical information on the candy mansion. The guide was personable and fun. He had a wealth of information about candy and the processing. It was interesting to watch how they wrapped the candy. We had no idea there was so much hands on work that was need to wrap one piece of candy. And, that candy making was hands on even with machines needed to help. The Carmel candy and chocolate were great. We loved the chocolate bar we got at the end, because we got to select the 3 toppings we wanted on top! We felt the price of the tour was fair as it included a nice chocolate bar. I plan to return with a friend and he 3 kids this summer. If having lunch, allow 3 hours. Otherwise 2 will do. There is a small parking lot in the back but show up early. Lot was full when we arrived at 12:30 for lunch before our tour. If you can’t park in the lot, there are meters on the street and they allow you to pay for only a max 2 hours and then you have to pay again. You can use a smart phone to pay or coins but only for up to 2 hours at a time
Very interesting! I loved the Easter decorations! Beautifully done. Many, many candy choices and nice cafe.
