We were lucky to have Duncan as our Belfast Black Cabs Troubles Tour guide. He met us promptly at the appointed place for which we were grateful. Whilst our vehicle was not a black cab as such, it was certainly a comfortable modern van that suited our group’s needs. Duncan conducted the tour at a pace that ensured we got to see the relevant points with as much or as little detail as we wanted. We were never rushed and got full value from the tour. More than anything Duncan spoke with the gravitas warranted by the situations discussed and we were grateful for that. Thanks Duncan.

Ricky our guide was very knowledgeable and we thoroughly enjoyed the tour. It’s a great way of getting an in-depth understanding of the history.

We went on the tour with Brendan as our guide. The sights were interesting and the way Brendan took us through the tour with his stories, knowledge, and sympathy left us feeling educated, moved, and interested to learn more about the conflict ourselves. A really great experience and really great with a guide who was not shy to answer any questions we had. He was very open, and yet also neutral. Do the tour; you will not regret it! Furthermore, it is excellent service to be picked up at and taken back to your hotel at the end of the tour.

Very good tour and our driver Jimmy was very knowledgeable and took us to all the places we wanted.

Great educational engaging and interesting tour with Paul! He showed us multiple different spots and let us take tons of photos. He showed us lots of pictures and videos to help us better visualize different sites. Overall great tour experience I would recommend!!

Great tour by Brendan today, very informative and interesting. Brought us around to all the important areas sharing facts and story’s. Overall great tour. Highly recommend to anyone considering doing the tour.

Paul was our guide, knowledgeable and very engaging. If you get him as your guide you’ve hit the jackpot on this excellent tour. Don’t miss it, absolutely tremendous

Highly recommend the Black Taxi Tour Original Drivers. It was far beyond how it is described. Paul was EXCELLENT, sharing personal experiences made it more heartfelt and memorable. Lots of emotion brought to these sights. Thanks Paul 💙

+1

I can’t recommend Ricky highly enough. He was extremely knowledgeable, very friendly and gave us the most incredible two hour tour. We were a group of four, who bombarded him with questions, all of which were answered with a great deal of information. We were able to stop at several places for photos and it was particularly wonderful to write our messages on the Peace Wall.

An excellent introduction to the history of the Troubles. George made the times come alive for us at every stop with detailed accounts of the context and major events. He also shared how this history looms large over the population of Belfast in ways that continue to affect their every day lives. Highly recommend.
