Easy to book. Reasonably priced. Brendan our guide was great. sharing history and finding local birds and seals and sea lions. Few things as joyful as 90 minutes kayaking around the harbor and out into the ocean on a beautiful southern California day.
We had a great time! Liam M. was a fantastic guide - he was thorough, kind, and knowledgeable. We got lucky with a small group and would absolutely recommend this activity for anyone looking to have a fun outing on the water!
Our tour guide Johnny was great, we had no previous kayak experience and he was an amazing teacher! Not to mention he went the extra mile to show us cool wildlife and take our picture in the middle of the ocean in front of our cruise ship. He also had cool stories and was very knowledgeable about the area. This was a last minute booking for us and ended up being one of our favorite memories from our trip. Beautiful views and lots of up close wildlife. Thank you Johnny!!
Brennen was a great guide. Provided lots of interesting facts. We kayaked around the entire harbor then went out around Stearn’s Wharf. Went under the wharf and back to the harbor.
Brendan was a fantastic tour guide! So knowledgeable, personable, and fun! Thoroughly enjoyed learning about Santa Barbara Harbor, seeing sea lions, and kayaking in the ocean. Highly recommend!

Good experience overall. A great and affordable way to get kayaking in the area. We paddled under a catamaran and paddled out to the buoy where we saw a young seal pup. My only feedback would be go stay out longer. By the time we got going (after safety talks and grabbing items from the truck, etc) it was around 1:15-1:30. We came back in about 2:15-2:30. So, that was barely an hour of being out on the water and the title and descriptor said 2 hours. So we were a little disappointed. Overall the guides were great though and the weather perfect!
This was a wonderful experience for me. I felt safe before I even went into the water. The kayaking was enjoyable and even a little challenging. We saw lots of sea lions and pelicans and Liam was a fabulous guide! Fun, smart and caring!
Gabbie shared her incredible knowledge and history of the area. We learned a lot and enjoyed her stories. Educational and fun!
