We have been Portugal travelers for decades and first booked Bruno Miguel in 2013 for family trips. We have just completed our most recent excursions with him, our eighth day trip with Bruno in total. Bruno is THE MAN!
I don’t even know where to start! Bruno was our guide and was absolutely fabulous. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ yes- at least SIX stars. We spent the entire day with him- he picked us up and dropped us back off at our hotel. He was so knowledgeable but very personable, too. He also gave us a good feel for the culture. There’s a reason he has all these excellent reviews. I would go on ANY of his tours. He also took some wonderful pictures of us- a few of which are below. Hire Bruno- you’re welcome!!!

Best tour guide of Sintra
Bruno is awesome! Loved his tour of Sintra/Cape Roca/Cascais. He is very knowledgeable in Portuguese history and conveys it to his clients in an understandable manner. He is personable and professional. HIGHLY recommend Bruno.

Lisbon Cultural Tour
Had a great private tour with our guide Rueben. Very knowledgeable as he grew up in Lisbon. Ontime, respectful and willing to accommodate any of our needs. Did the Sintra and Lisbon tours which were informative and included great photo opportunities. If you want a no worries tour with a comprehensive overview of the Lisbon, palaces, churches and coastal stops, Bruno and his team are the way to go. We even saw the home of where Ranoldo super soccer star lives!! Thank you for the great experience.

This tour is memorable with beautiful scenery and remarkable history. There is substantial walking. We walked six miles on this tour, mostly on hills

We are very happy , that you enjoyed the tour and were able to complete it given ,that your group were all seniors.
Ruben your guide even made arragements for one the guests to enter the iniciatic well of Quinta da Regaleira by the exit because with a quad cane the guest would not be able to descend 100 feet of stairs ,so they were still able to enjoy it.
I believe that in the 8 hours of the tour you walked 6 miles but I feel obligated to our readers to clarify that its not all hills .
The distance from the car park ,passing through the village of Sintra and ending in Regaleira is about one mile and half and we break it down with stops along the way where you can sit down and its mainly flat,although, when you arrive at Regaleira there is a hill thats is 300 yards and once you reach the well its mainly walking down.So walking to Regaleira and back its 3 miles .
Pena Palace from the gate to the entrance you took the transfer (a little bus), from the transfer stop to the entrance its 50 yards and there is an elevator that goes up two floors, that you took to visit the Terraces.
Cape Roca is mainly flat , Cascais is also flat and in both locations you only have to walk as much you want ,so if you dont have to walk very far there are option like cafés viewpoints ,decks and ice cream shops to relax and unwind.
Everytime we have a booking I send a message to our travellers saying I am available to help with any questions and because this is a private tour you can costumize it any way you prefer , so when i contacted you in April and exchanged messages the following months even two weeks before the tour ,you never mentioned limitations on mobility of the group ,which aparently you don´t have because you walked six miles and there was never an issue.
Lawrence I hope if you come back to Portugal we have the oportunity the be your tour company again and as our guests from former reviews know ,we cater to all types of mobility were you can choose to walk less and be driven more.

Amazing excursions!

Bruno was the most amazing tour guide! My whole family went and we had the most incredible time. We have toured other places since then without him and keep on bringing up how great he was and how we wish we booked more tours with him. He is the best.
