Fantastic private tour with our guide David. Picked us up at our hotel. David grew up in Belfast during the conflict and had great knowledge and perspective. Was an incredible experience and I highly recommend. While this topic is sad, so important to understand this important history.
One of the best tours we’ve ever been on. Mal was a delight! He provided so much interesting information from both sides, as well as his personal experience. He was funny, friendly, and relatable (connecting history to our own experiences at home). His guidance gave us a great start with Irish history and added to our appreciation of Irish culture. My father and I did this tour on a trip from Australia in March 2026. I could not recommend the experience highly enough. I got the recommendation from a friend and have since passed it onto others. Our guide was amazing. He was so knowledgeable of the events, and very honest and vulnerable about his experiences. My father and I had different levels of knowledge about the history, and our guide was able to tailor the tour to reflect our different knowledge bases. He took extra time to make sure we had a great experience. Definitely book for your trip to Belfast.
Wonderful experience! Excellent guide that was personable and clearly very knowledgeable. I really liked the fact that he would periodically hop in the back of the cab with us and go through printed historical photos and how areas we were parked at looked like at different times during The Troubles. He was eager to answer any questions and you could tell he had a passion for sharing his knowledge and experience. Also seemed pretty unbiased. Communication in arranging pickup was easy and very convenient (direct from our hotel in the Titanic Quarter for a small extra fee). Highly recommend!!
