My husband and I enjoyed this outing very much. Patrick, our guide, was so fun, friendly, and knowledgeable. He was attentive and took great care of the group. We hiked in the forest and Patrick pointed out trees, plants, and mushrooms. We got to see salmon jumping in the river. At the totem park, Patrick shared stories behind the designs. So interesting! Thank you!
Kevin was fabulous!!! His knowledge and love of Alaska was apparent and we had a great time with him. The walk in the rainforest was perfect and at a great pace with him pointing out so much about the surrounding nature. He shined above all other tour guides at the totem park as others stood back and allowed him to tell the stories and history of the poles. We left with incredible knowledge and a true experience of a lifetime.. ** And the Royal cookie from the Green Bean Coffee Company that was our “prize” for surviving the “hike” was absolutely delicious!!!
Did this on our shore day in Ketchikan. The rainforest walk was great with an informative guide and we luckily had a sunny day in Ketchikan where we were told it only averages 55 days rain free each year! We also saw bears feeding on the spawning salmon and enjoyed the history ad carving of totem poles. Well worthwhile short shore excursion.

Our guide, Kevin, was very knowledgable about the forest and totem park. We were the only couple on the tour, so it was very personalized and not rushed. The cookie was amazing!
