the guide never showed up. the office was great in handling it, and offered a free tour, but i could not go then.

We came to Ketchikan on our Alaskan cruise. We have always booked tours independently from the cruise and found this tour on Viator. We were impressed with the wealth of knowledge our guide Daniel provided. He grew up in Ketchikan and passed his wealth of knowledge on to us, as well as additional information and facts about Alaska as a whole, including facts about weather, animals, fishing and culture. Daniel’s friendly and courteous nature makes him a great guide. I would definitely recommend this tour. Thanks Daniel!!

We had such a wonderful experience on our Alaska tour! Daniel was an amazing guide—very informative, personable, and clearly passionate about sharing his knowledge. He knew so many interesting facts and little pieces of history that we never would have learned on our own. The extra information he shared was fascinating and made the tour even more enjoyable. We really appreciated how engaging and knowledgeable he was throughout the entire experience. Highly recommend this tour, especially if you get Daniel as your guide!

We found our guide, Hannah to be very knowledgeable about the area and extremely friendly. She took to see the sights, answered all our questions, and we all shared in laughter along the way. On our first stop, we stop by creek that at low tide, and a bear appeared. It caught a salmon then ate. When the bear was finished, crossed the road not more than 50 feet from. Hannah then took us across the road to Ketikchan Sam's where we tasted the best smoked salmon ever and tried Spruce tip soda. We then headed over the Totem pole heritage center. Hannah didn't rush us through. The center was really interesting, and Hannah showed us salmon hatchery across the stream. Lastly, we went to the salmon ladder and showed a shopping district. We highly this tour to everyone.

Really wonderful tour! They were very accommodating for our family and made it feel so personal. A great way to see many of the sights in Ketchikan and get off the main area. Highly recommend!

Disappointed. We could have gone a bit farther in herring cove which is within the reserve sanctuary to see the bears as my other group got to see 7!

Daniel did an amazing job touring our family in Ketchikan. We got to see a black bear, baby eagles & nest, a beautiful waterfall in the rainforest, and tons of salmon in the stream. We highly recommend this tour to see all the important sites in the city/on the island and learn some history. Thank you, Daniel!

Smaller group is better, develop a one on one bonding with tour guide and other guests. Tour guide is knowledgeable and will provide netter observation point from competitive excursions

Great tour, Shad was excellent with plenty of information provided combined with some humour. Unfortunately no bears were spotted the day we went but it wasn't through lack of trying.

Guide was good; stops and itinerary left a lot to be desired. Seemed very haphazardly thrown together.
