Safe and Easy hike, with legitimately breathtaking views. Consider yourself lucky if you get Roman as he was experienced and professional. Safe spot to sleep with some of the best food I had in Nepal. Cannot rave about this enough.

​I just wrapped up an incredible 2-day Dhampus and Australian Base Camp trek with Breathe Nepal Trekking. Everything ran like clockwork, from the prompt pickup to the seamless coordination along the trail. ​The hike is moderate and beginner-friendly, featuring beautiful stone steps and forest trails. The highlight was waking up at Australian Base Camp to breathtaking sunrise views over the Annapurna range and Mount Machhapuchhre, followed by a cozy, welcoming tea house stay. ​A massive thank you to our guide, Yam! He was genuinely awesome—friendly, highly experienced, and kept a comfortable pace throughout. Highly recommend this tour, and definitely ask for Yam!

This really was the best experience! Mostly thanks to Roman who planned/arranged the trip and Kumar our sensational guide. We visited in July (rainy season) and from the start we knew we would have some challenges. Luckily for us Kumar was with us who kept us smiling and laughing along the way. The first couple of hours up to Australia camp is around 300m climb was a little rough in the heat. Kumar ensured we had regular water breaks and ensured we were safe and hydrated. Kumar shared his diverse knowledge of the flora/fauna and wildlife of the surroundings introducing us to many new encounters. On the way down we faced torrential rain, which was fun as it was warm. It was quite slippery and again slowly and steadily guided by Kumar to ensure a safe but fin decent to Dhampus. Overnight, we were introduced to Dhampus locals (Kumar's friends) who prepared a wonderful dinner and spent the evening chatting. Next day was dry and we were treated to the most breath taking views of Annapurna range. Following breakfast we had a 2 hour decent through local villages and streams from the rain to meet our driver and return to Pokhara. I would highly recommend this 2 day trip and if you have the choice make sure you go with Kumar. Never Ending Peace and Love! 🙏

kumar Shrestha was an amazing tour guide, from the moment he collected us to the moment we said goodbye. He told us the history of Nepal and our location , had an amazing knowledge of all the plants and wildlife. Helped me out big time when the leeches appeared! He welcomed us into his friends home for an evening meal which was an amazing experience. He made us feel safe and so welcome. I cannot recommend Kumar enough.

We had a great couple of days with our guide Kumar. He took us along a beautiful route through hills, valleys and villages near Pokhara. We talked a lot and had became good friends by the end. The overnight accommodation was in a picturesque village run by a kind gurung family. Kumar gave us maps of longer routes in nearby regions, which we would love to come back and do with him soon. We would recommend this as a gentle introduction to Nepal trekking, with comfortable tea houses and accommodation along the way.

I had such an amazing two-day hike with guide Kumar! Along the way I saw the incredible beauty of mountains, valleys, hills and jungle. One day, we were climbing early in the morning to watch the dawn over the mountains. Kumar tipped off a cashmere shop in a mountain village on the way, where they do everything locally with their own hands. I bought high-quality stuff five to seven times cheaper than in the capital. We stayed for lunch and overnight in local mountain villages where we had the opportunity to get to know the local culture and customs, interact directly with people. We were going through eco villages and I took part in a wheat planting with local women. Transportation and escorts were provided at a high level. I was able to leave my suitcases in the office. Terrific people work for this company. And Kumar is a long-serving guide who has been driving bands for over 40 years. Very easy to climb, with a kind heart, positive, always helpful and prompt, knows a lot about local life, cheerful and very resilient. On the individual tour everything is tailored to you and you can change the itinerary and its duration as you want. I was incredibly inspired to return to Nepal once again for longer journeys and will definitely be approaching this company. Thank you so much for such a warm and cordial welcome!

We did this 1.5 day trek with our 7-year old daughter and it was perfect. Our guide Yam was fantastic and very friendly. The views of the Annapurna range in the morning from Dhampus were amazing. The accommodation and food was good. All in all a great trip!

My memorable trip to Nepal Pokara & the hike with my wife Barbara was memorable & fantastic!! Our guide Kumar was the perfect guide ... took us on trails forgotten by time ... villages that take you 200 years back & with no contact with people from the West !! ... Kumar from guide became a fraternal friend!! .... fantastic experience....

We had a fantastic experience trekking to Australian Camp and Dhampus with our wonderful guide Kumar. We booked through Roman who was very helpful in his emails and Kumar's friendly approach made the trek better than we could ever have wished! The hotel we stayed at in Dhampus had amazing views of the Annapurnas and the food and the family there were wonderful. Our guide Kumar always made an effort to find alternative routes away from other trekkers and we loved the peaceful paths he found to take us on. One of the highlights for me was joining a local festival with Kumar and getting invited to dance with the villagers! Kumar even introduced us to his wife and grandson and we later introduced him to our own kids via live whatsapp chat! It was a very emotional moment for us all! Namaste Kumar and thank you so much for your friendship on our trek together. We can highly recommend Breathe Nepal to everyone for their care and professionalism. Thank you also for the lovely surprise gifts Kumar gave us for our children!
