Poon Hill Trek — Absolutely Worth It
One of the best trekking experiences we've had. The scenery along the Ghorepani–Poon Hill route is stunning, and the sunrise view from the top is unforgettable.
Our guide Bhim was exceptional — attentive, knowledgeable, and genuinely caring throughout the entire trek. We always felt safe and well looked after.
A big thank you also to our porter Manjom, who carried our bags every single day - an unsung hero of the trek.
The teahouses surprised us in the best way - comfortable, warm, and with much better food than we expected at altitude . Greetings to Hungry Eye Guesthouse.
Highly recommended for anyone looking for a rewarding Himalayan trek that doesn't require technical climbing experience.

Classic Poon Hill Trek, 5 Days of incredible Trekking
We had the most incredible experience on our trek, and with the team at Nepal Wilderness Trekking, exceeding all our expectations.
If you are looking to trek, book with Nepal Wilderness Trekking, I could not recommend them more.
From the initial email and throughout the whole trip they were so professional, helpful, friendly and warm. They communicated clearly what to expect from our first Nepali trekking experience, offering suggestions for gear appropriate for the season, and providing sound advice too.
Our guide Agni (@trek_with_agni), and porter Sanje, were amazing. Always professional, friendly, and with such incredible people skills. We spent 5 days in their company, which felt effortless and comfortable whether we were chatting, learning about local communities and nature in Nepal or just trekking in the silent serenity of rural Nepal.
The trek was so beautiful, experiencing the forests, communities and mountains, truly an unforgettable experience. At times it was challenging physically but that only added to the positive feelings of accomplishment. I always felt supported, as did my partner, by Agni and Sanje.
The teahouses we stayed in were beautiful, comfortable and very accommodating. The Dal Bhat was delicious and slight different at every one, and the staff so welcoming and friendly.
The trek was well priced and worth every penny, I feel honoured to have been given this experience by Nepal Wilderness Trekking.
We both can not wait to come back and do more trekking, most likely an even longer trek, and will definitely be booking with Nepal Wilderness Trekking and requesting Agni again.
If Sanje is still available I hope he can come too.
Overall we fell in love with Nepal, the Himalaya and our new friends 💕

Great choice for a first timer

Great and accessible for beginners
Both guide and porter were professional, knowledgeable, and friendly throughout the hike, and made sure the whole journey was smooth for everyone. Some degree of fitness recommended, but overall the pace and difficulty was manageable.

A great hike that was fun and safe!
Had a great hike with Sabin and Gupinta! Sabin was very knowledgeable regarding the route to take and they made the hike safe and fun despite it being tough for first-timers like us. The cost covered everything we needed with clean and comfortable accoms. The food was great and the hostel and restaurant owners they arranged for us were so friendly and welcoming too! :) Overall the perfect choice for first-timers like us - would recommend.

A healing journey
Initially went trekking to keep my mind occupied from my loved one passing.
The team was very responsive to my queries and very quick to respond. I had a thousand questions prior to trek and every single one of them was answered.
They did all the ground work for permits, expenses and planning. Impressed by how well planned it was without letting any unanswered questions go.
My guide Pabitta was very bubbly and funny, I kept laughing and talking to her the whole trip, it made it so mememorable. My first trek and my first trekking friend. Along the way we made a couple of friends too from different backgrounds. It was definitely a great experience for me to take my mind off my trauma.
Blessed by God to have met a great guide like her ❤️❤️🥹.
Her expertise in many many mountains is second to none. Every monumental sites she would gladly explain and inform what's what and how trials interconnect with each other. With extensive experience in all beginner to intermediate friendly trials. I hope to have her as my guide again, because that's how good she is.
If you happen to trek with her you will be leaving with your cheeks hurting from smiling and laughing too much at some point i had to massage my face because it was sore 🤣
100/10 experience. Anyone considering doing trekking first time should try the gorepani poon hill 3-Day trek. It really made me out into perspective how huge Everest really is.

Truley unforgettable!!!!
Where do I start? This trip was the most special one I have ever been on. The beauty of Nepal and its people has to be experienced by any avid traveller.
Our guides made the experience even more special. Their kindness, understanding, and patience will never be forgotten. Sabin was incredible. His age initially raised a question mark, but he was so composed, professional, and truly one of the best out there when it comes to guiding.
I never wanted to leave. The views, the food, and the majestic forests were unforgettable.

Perfect
My boyfriend and I did the 8 day Poon Hill and ABC trek. We absolutely loved it and have memories for a lifetime. Everything was perfect, the rooms, food, amount of walking and the route was gorgeous. Our guide Pabitra and porter couldn’t have done anymore for us. They were officiant and professional but also kind and sociable. We couldn’t have asked for any more of them and I hope we stay in touch for hikes in the future. We definitely recommend this company. Poon Hill made great with Doma and Kaji
I would sincerely like to give a very BIG thank you to Doma and Kaji Sherpa for a wonderful trek to Poon Hill. Although the trip was described as Easy (perhaps if you’ve already climbed Everest), for me it was a challenge. However Doma and Kari made everything seem easy and any little issue was solved easily. They became great friends on the trip and it was very sad to say goodbye. I could not recommend them more highly and I hope we can do another trip together in the future. Thank you Doma and Kaji.
