They told us to meet at Budapest Eye (Ferris wheel), Erzsbet tr next to the fountain. There is no fountain there! Just a sprinkler (water tap). Waited in front of the ferris wheel on Erzsbet tr for almost an hour but couldn't spot the guide. Communicatiom with the provider through Tripadvisor was terrible and slow. I don't know why they couldn't message or just call us. They refunded the money, but it's the time we wasted waiting an organising our day sround it.
Hello Miles, Thank you for your feedback. The meeting point was clearly stated as the Budapest Eye Ferris Wheel next to the Danubius Fountain on Erzsébet Square. The fountain and the drinking-water tap are separate landmarks. At no point in our booking confirmation, reminder messages, or Tripadvisor communications did we instruct guests to wait by the tap. Our guide was present at the designated meeting point with the blue flag, and all other guests successfully found and joined the tour. After you contacted us, we provided additional directions, issued a full refund, and offered you the opportunity to join one of our tours the following day without making a new booking. Our guide was Andre. He was very nice, charming and helpful. I had a good time with him, and he gave us a quick review of the Hungarian history, cuisine, architecture, etc.
