This trip was neither outstanding or particularly bad - it was just okay. The food brought on board was traditional Egyptian food, which was edible but not anything I’d want again. They gave us plastic cutlery and the drinks provided were not cold. They could improve this by putting the drinks on ice and providing proper cutlery. In my mind there wasn’t much to see from the water you couldn’t see from land. The staff with us were friendly and tried their best but all in all, a bit disappointing.

The best people and terrific Felucca experience!
I want to first off give a shout out to Capt. Hany Boogie, Abdo (the photographer), and Suhaib. This triad made me Cafelucca experience well worth it and very fun! I could not have asked for a better experience and recommend you request these guys on your next booking!

Average Falucca experience
This is supposed to be a fancy falucca on the Nile with an absolutely amazing meal. Sure, the boat is well appointed, but without a sail. The meal is well below average and nothing that I’ll really recommend. Ours was a cold , pre-prepared mixed grill platter, with the usual starters. I paid for an experience that was supposed to be the best and I did have a good time; yet in all fairness it is just average

Great way to spend a night with a group in Cairo
We were a group of friends in our 20s/30s trying to find a fun way to spend our time in Cairo and figured a nice meal on a boat cruising the Nile would be a good choice. Really fun and also oddly relaxing experience being on the river away from the noisy hustle and bustle of the streets of Cairo. The Staff were very friendly, gladly took some pictures for us and also played some music we requested. The musical instruments was a fun touch too.

Falucca
A very beautiful experience. At the Falucca we had a very good time with our friends and family. It was very well organized. Everything was beautiful, the food, the sunset decor, it was magnificent. I recommend it.

My felucca experience
I had such a wonderful felucca experience with Cafe Luca. The ride on the Nile was peaceful, beautiful, and very enjoyable, with amazing views of Giza, Zamalek Island, and Cairo. Sohip and Gamal were very kind, welcoming, and attentive throughout the whole experience. The food was really good, I ate very well, and I especially loved the Egyptian rice pudding dessert. I also enjoyed all the drinks, and they even let me try steering the felucca, which made the experience feel even more special. We had so much fun with the music and traditional percussion instruments, and the atmosphere was joyful and relaxed. They were also kind enough to take pictures of me, which I really appreciated. Overall, it was a beautiful, authentic, and memorable experience, and I would definitely recommend it to anyone visiting Cairo.

Very fun and relaxing!
The cruise along the river Nile was very relaxing and fun. We had a great time doing karaoke, playing the tabla, and enjoying delicious drink drinks and desserts. I highly recommend this for anyone looking to get an authentic Egyptian experience on the river Nile.

Calm Cool Dinner Nights
We got lucky because we had the entire boat to ourselves. The two waiters and boat captain gave us a perfect night. The meal provided was the best we got during our whole trip in Egypt. I wish I got the names of the boat crew because they were great and deserve kudos for the service they provided. I recommend this to everyone!
