We had an amazing time taking in Rotterdam with Hans! He was incredibly knowledgeable, friendly, and funny, and really did his best to pass on historical and cultural facts about the city. Our two and a half hour tour gave us a good amount of time to take everything in. Please remember to bring cash as the tour guides are paid in tips. Would recommend this tour to others, and you’re lucky if you get Hans!
Wim was our guide. He is a local and a good communicator who loves his city. He shared a lot of history with us and stories of the various specific buildings highlighted as well as the city's development from WWII forwards. He is enthusiastic and has a sense of humor too. Enjoyable 2 ours. Recommend him as a guide.
Mark was excellent! We thoroughly enjoyed our walk which was entertaining, informative, well paced and covered a good amount of Rotterdam. Mark's English was excellent. He made everyone feel welcome and included and answered all questions. Absolutely recommend him, first rate.
Good walk about the city with a knowledgeable local. We enjoyed hearing the stories about the different neighbourhoods and got some nice recommendations for dinner.
Very comprehensive and interesting tour, however, I found that some of the sights could have been left out which would have given us more time to photograph and which would have made the walk less frenetic. Nevertheless, the guide gave us an excellent overview of the centre of Rotterdam.
An excellent introduction to the city - our tour was led by Bram who is obviously passionate about his home city. We revisited the cube houses and the market the following day. (Would rather Trip advisor did not default to dollars when trying to book in English).
Excellent tour of Rotterdam with Mark, who covered loads of really interesting history, and gave a fascinating insight into buildings old and new. Great tips for other places to go in Rotterdam too.
Paul was very good and took us for 2 hrs around the city on a very windy day . Very informative .
