This was a very educational tour about sake. Jimmy was knowledgeble and personable. We had a great time and really enjoyed the sake tasting!

月桂冠大倉酒ミュージアムで日本酒造りを学ぶ 大倉美術館。 月桂冠の豊かな歴史や日本酒の醸造過程を、日本酒の展示を見学しながら学びます。

寺田屋のそばを通る 幕末の英雄・坂本龍馬が襲撃され、悲劇として有名な「寺田屋騒動」が起きた京都・伏見の観光名所。 旧邸宅跡には現在、龍馬像や薩摩藩九勇士の石碑があり、隣には事件当時の寺田屋を復元した旅館「旅館寺田屋」があり、幕末の京都の動乱を体験できる名所となっている。 周辺の伏見・桃山エリアは日本酒の産地として有名で、日本屈指の酒どころ。 また、月桂冠大倉記念館など日本酒を楽しめる場所や、周辺のお店もたくさんあります。

かっぱギャラリーで日本酒造りを学ぶ 河童ミュージアムは、日本人に古くから親しまれている生き物「河童」を収蔵する日本有数の美術館です。 河童の由来や歴史、伝承などを分かりやすく解説した資料を展示している。 黄櫻記念館では、酒造りの様子がわかる模型や昔使われていた道具など、日本酒に関する資料も展示し、日本酒の魅力を紹介しています。

A really great experience
The real experience is with Jimmy who made it really enjoyable. Don’t try too many samples at the brewery when you get to the sake cafe you have a lot to try and make sure you order some of the delicious food, the conversation and experience make it really memorable

Amazing Sake Tour with a Wonderful Guide!
An amazing and super fun sake tour! The atmosphere was great, we met wonderful people, and our guide was absolutely lovely—friendly, knowledgeable, and engaging. It was a unique and memorable experience, and we highly recommend it!

A sake-filled adventure
We had such an amazing time on our sake tour in Japan! 🍶🇯🇵 My sister and I had the best experience exploring the sake museums, learning about the history and process of sake-making, and, of course, tasting an incredible 22 different types of sake! Our guide was wonderful, and the entire experience was fun, informative, and such a memorable part of our trip. It was the perfect combination of Japanese culture, history, and tasting something new. My sister and I had so much fun together and would absolutely recommend this tour to anyone visiting Japan! ❤️🍶 Definitely one of the highlights of our trip!

Highly recommend!
Such a lovely tour, my friend and I can highly recommend it! Yuki was excellent at explaining the history behind sake and she was such pleasant company. We had a lovely time, learned a lot, and got to see some parts of Kyoto we wouldn’t have seen otherwise! Thank you for the wonderful experience ❤️

Excellent Kyoto Sake Tour with Jimmy!

Experience to remember
We had Matt as our guide and he was very relaxed, very helpful with our needs, and very knowledgeable regarding the process and background of sake making. For a first timer trying sake Matt had some fantastic recommendations.
