Fillip was amazing at sharing this history behind the areas we visited and the history behind the food. The walk through the street market for meat added a nice touch to the tour.

We had a great tour with Phillipos. He was very friendly and informative. We had some general information about Athens and Greek history and also, of course the food part of the tour! We stopped for Athenian bagel (can’t remember the name!), sweet (bougatsa) and savory (spanakopita) pastries, we stopped for traditional Greek coffee, wandered through the fish and meat market, stopped for tasting and learning about traditional Grecian cheese and yogurt, had fresh loukamades with honey syrup (so delicious!!) and ended with a mezze “lunch” (plenty of food!) with some wine for the end. He brought us back to Monastiraki square to help orient us. He made the tour informative, delicious and enjoyable, would recommend!

Phillip was a superb guide. The tour was a highlight of our time in Athens!

Maria..... the best guide ever. She showed us local cuisines, explored the local history on the way and made us experience the delicacies of Athens. Such an amazing tour. p.s. don't bother with a private tour of the Acropolis when these food guides know more whilst showing you such local culinary marvels.

Fun walk around the city with Lef. He was very knowledgeable and shared a lot of tips about Greece, other activities to do after the tour ended and explained a lot about the culture. The food was great - lots to try. Very fun way to spend the afternoon.

Lef was super! The tour was perfect in every way. I felt we got to know the foods and the area so much better with the tour. Hope everyone loves it as much as I did!

The guide (I forget how to write his name) treated us very well throughout the entire excursion. He spoke to us about the history of the places, information about the cheeses, the food, and the drinks we consumed. Honestly, the best guide we have had during our time here in Greece. His skills in Spanish were also extraordinary. Excellent service, and I would recommend it to any Spanish-speaking couple or family that needs a good tour of the city to try authentic food.

This is a terrific experience all around. The food is amazing and our guide Lef was wonderful. You learn a great deal about Greek food plus you get an education on the neighborhoods. It is our first time in Athens and we would not have seen many of the areas he showed us if we hadn't done the tour. I highly recommend.

This was a great tour to take! Maria told us all about foods in Greece as well as telling us about the history of the city and the country. She was a wonderful guide and our family enjoyed this tour very much.
