Elias was an amazing guide. He has an authentic love for Greek cuisine and an even deeper respect for the culture and history of Athens. We had a great first night in Athens and it is 100% because of our guide
What a wonderful start to your trip, Eileen! We are delighted that your introduction to local culinary traditions and Athenian heritage set such a positive tone for your stay. Thank you for sharing your experience, and we hope to see you again soon!
My husband and I went on the Athens by Night Food and Wine Tour and had an amazing experience!! Our guide, Aspa, was so great! She not only lead us through all different traditional Greek foods but she also explained different archeological sites around the city as we went! Would highly recommend her as your guide!!
We are so thrilled to hear that you and your husband had such an amazing experience with us on your tour! It’s wonderful to know you enjoyed diving into traditional Greek flavors while learning about our city's rich history along the way. Thank you so much for the high recommendation. We truly hope to welcome both of you back again soon!
Wonderful food tour with great stops and a lovely, knowledgeable guide.
Thank you so much, Alison! We are delighted you enjoyed the food tour and that our guide made it such a great experience! We hope to welcome you back for another tasty adventure soon!
I arranged this tour as a 21st birthday present for my son and two of his friends who are studying in Athens this semester! They said it was a “10/10” night and a great way to experience the city. They went to great spots they would not have known about and the food was excellent. The guides were friendly and awesome. Huge hit!
Thank you, Jennifer! What a fantastic way to celebrate a 21st birthday! We’re so happy the boys had a “10/10” night and discovered spots they wouldn’t have found on their own. A huge compliment to our guides!
Fun way to explore the city with someone who lives there. The wines and food were presented by knowledgeable people providing insights that won't come out of a guidebook.
Thank you, Timothy! That’s exactly what we aim for: local insights, great wine, and stories you won’t find in a guidebook. So glad you enjoyed exploring Athens with us.
We joined this tour just three hours after landing in Athens. It was a great induction to the city and its sights, sounds, smells, and of course, tastes! Our guide, Maria, was very welcoming, personable, and fun to hang out with. The other people in our tour group were at the tail end of their vacation and didn’t get as much out of it as we did. I would definitely recommend the food tour as the first activity you do when you land, even the same day if you can manage it.
So happy the tour made such a great first impression, Lisa! Maria will love knowing she made your first night in Athens so welcoming and fun. Thanks for recommending it as a must-do right after landing!
AMAZING! Such a great experience. Our tour guide picked out amazing choices for us. I’ve done different food tours in various countries and this one was by far the best. We talk about this food tours often. The food was delicious and we saw a different side of Athens. She seemed to take us to all the local spots in the city. This food tour included full meal portions vs a small bite like some other food tours.
Thank you so much, Elizabeth! We're thrilled to hear our food tour stood out among your travels; it means the world. Hope those Athens flavors stay with you for a long time!
Eugenia was a fantastic guide. We can't recommend this experience enough. We got the highlights of the best of Greek food and wine and helpful travel tips as well. We had a fantastic evening and she went the extra mile for our son's birthday. Well worth it. Just be sure you are hungry!
Heather, thank you for such a thoughtful review! We're so glad Eugenia made your evening and your son’s birthday special. Sharing the best of Greek food and wine is what we love most. And yes, coming hungry is definitely key!
