There is some walking but most of the time there are benches for the old or infirm. Deb J was very knowledgeable and amiable. And answered all of our questions. The walk wasn’t that long and we definitely saw a lot.

Simone was TERRIFIC!!! So fun and funny as well as having a GREAT narrative. Whenever I learn a lot on a tour I am happy!!

Our guide was friendly and informative. It was a pretty small group and we could hear our guide well.

The tour was very informative but the pace was very slow and we could have seen and done a lot more in that time frame. In addition, a microphone is necessary, as it was very hard to hear the guide.

This was such a wonderful experience! Maryse was amazing! We were able to book last minute and the tour did not disappoint. Highly recommend if you are looking for some history of Montreal.

We had such a wonderful time exploring Montréal with Maryse! She was incredibly knowledgeable, engaging, and genuinely passionate about the city. What I loved most was that it never felt like we were simply being given a list of historical facts — Maryse brought Montréal’s history, culture, architecture and neighbourhoods to life with fascinating stories, personal insights, and a great sense of humour. She was also incredibly friendly and made the whole group feel welcome and involved. You could really tell how much she loves Montréal (the city is literally in her bloodline), and that made the experience even more special. If you’re visiting Montréal and want to understand the city beyond the typical tourist sights, I can absolutely recommend taking a tour with Maryse. She made our visit so much more memorable! Cecile was very informative without being overbearing. She had an excellent sense of humor, and made us feel at ease with the various parties in our group. The walk distance was as expected for 2 hours, with many pauses along the way to catch your breath. Sites included both the expected and the unexpected.

Our tour guide, Debbie, was great. Very knowledgeable and friendly. She even gave us restaurant suggestions at the end which was helpful. Would definitely recommend.

This tour was a great lesson in the history of of north Montreal am Canada and our guide Sandy was well versed on both. She also patient with all of our questions. She did a great job assessing the needs of the group and adapted accordingly. We woll look for Sandy again when touring Montreal.
