歴史ある京都の町家で、日本語の伝統的な茶道の美しさ、礼儀作法、心意気を体験してください。 家族経営の茶室では、1回につき最大8名様までご宿泊いただけますので、落ち着いた雰囲気の中で、お客様一人ひとりに合わせたおもてなしが可能です。 大きな商業会場とは異なり、一つ一つの動きに込められた意味を学び、日本語のおもてなしの精神を感じられる本格的な雰囲気作りにこだわっています。 わが家の茶道の伝統は代々受け継がれていて、その実践を父から学びました。 体験では、茶の湯の実演を見学したり、茶道具や作法を学んだり、季節の和菓子を楽しんだり、抹茶を自分で用意したりします。 また、京都の暮らしの伝統に繋がり、大切に守られている茶道具を、ご家庭でも体験いただけます。 初心者から日本語文化により深く興味を持つ方まで対応。

Very informative and fun. Location made it that much more compelling. We booked it last minute, but would recommend booking in advance.
Fantastic experience in Kyoto, super informative with an authentic feel. The tea master had so much focus and precision, it was like watching black belt martial arts of tea. Learned a lot about matcha history and got detailed explanations of what was happening from his very friendly and highly knowledgeable assistant. 10/10 recommend!

Manabu-san the tea master, and his assistant Paul were very welcoming and knowledgeable about the tea ceremony. We learned a lot while at the same time, they were very welcoming and patient as we are newcomers! Would recommend this as an activity for first-timers in Kyoto!

Six of us thoroughly enjoyed our tea ceremony. All staff were warm, friendly, and helpful. We were assisted with our kimonos and with every step of the ceremony. And our older group appreciated the chairs. Thank you for a memorable experience.

While it is not private, it is definitely intimate. Besides us there was only one other traveler and not much additional room. The tea master and his assistant were very knowledgeable and we learned a lot. Glad we did this. Kimono rental was an extra 1000 Yen but definitely worth it

Arrive promptly . We were kept waiting by one group which was annoying and seen as disrespectful to the tea master . Fascinating ceremony .
