Guide was very knowledgeable and entertaining. The food was so tasty and there was so much to try! You won't leave hungry.

Had a great Sambal Streets food tour with Sean, he was very passionate about Malaysian food culture, extremely knowledgeable, and above all, took great care of us (making sure we had enough to eat, wash hands, drinks, crossing street, bathroom, anything we might need). When choosing start time, keep in mind market closes earlier so booking the 4:30pm start is better. We booked the 6pm start time (as that was closer to dinner time) and it was still great but markets were already closed. To be fair it was a Sunday also.

The tour guide gave good info about Singapore. But the food that we tasted were just average and some items were overly sweetened with palm sugar and not to our liking. We came away disappointed in the food tour experience. I was surprised as Tripadvisor labelled this tour as best of the best. It wasn’t like that for is at all.

The Sambal Streets Kuala Lumpur Food Tour was a delicious experience that took us through the streets, family ran restaurants, and street food stalls of Kampung Baru. Our guide, Ian, told with great enthusiasm, was very knowledgeable about the local cuisine, and answered every question we had. We had a wonderful and tasteful evening and got to know the local cuisine a little better. Highly recommended for anyone who wants to look beyond the skyscrapers and shopping malls and learn more about local eating habits and culture.

This was such an entertaining and educational night. Ian our guide, communicated well before meeting and helpful afterwards. The food was great (maybe not the Durian, but I had to try ) we would not have found the restaurants on our own and even got to make roti. Highly recommend this tour in KL

Going on a food tour in Kuala Lumpur was genuinely the highlight of my trip. My tour guide was called Ian, and he made the food tour so engaging, and we had a great laugh whilst he took us around to city and introduced us to local food. I also got the opportunity to partake in one of the steps of making roti! Would recommend this food tour to absolutely anyone planning to visit Kuala Lumpar. 10/10 Ps. It was so good, I decided to do another food tour in Penang with the same company too. Great experience

My partner and I had a fantastic time! The tour started at 6pm and ended around 10pm as there was so many places to eat and visit. Ian was our guide and provided such a pleasant and engaging experience. He was very attentive to all of our needs and was mindful of whether we were provided too much or too little to eat throughout the tour. We would have never tried the different variety of local foods/fruits if it weren’t for Ian’s expertise and guidance. He was very informative. Ian was also great to talk to between the different restaurants we visited and was genuine throughout the experience. If I could hire Ian for all my tours, I would. Very fun and would do it again.

Really nice way to get to know the food and the city. You will try things that you probably wouldn't do on your own. That is actually fun! Thanks our guide Ian, you also get some background stories about the city, buildings and streets.
