What a fantastic way to get to know a city! Alejandra was amazing, really attentive and full of information about Oaxaca and the food we tried. The food was DELICIOUS! The combination of places we visited was well balanced and gave a great idea of some of what Oaxaca has to offer. It was really nice to try food from places that have been run by local families for generations and the quality of everything was great. We had a lovely time and would definitely recommend this tour!

14 courses is a lot of food. Probably too much. Our tour guide was knowledgeable, friendly, and affable. Would recommend doing it if you never did it before. They go to the same 14 places each time. I think it would have been helpful if guests were given an itinerary with the menu so they can pace themselves.

Come hungry! We were so full by the end of the tour but so worth it because everything was delicious. Alejandra was a great guide and shared a lot of history of both the food we were eating and Oaxaca. 10/10 would recommend!

There is a lot of food to taste, so as the advertisement suggests, come hungry, heed the advice and be prepared to have a lot of food to try.

One of the best food tastings I've ever done and a perfect way to get to know Mexico's food capital of Oaxaca! Alejandra was an incredible guide who took the time to explain the history and stories behind each dish and led us around the city of Oaxaca to show us local and delicious spots.

Such a great tour to have an overview of the gastronomy of Oaxaca. Our guide Dora was so knowledgeable about the food and places we visited. There were 14+ tasting, I was so fulled at the end of the tour that I was afraid of getting into a food coma. Highly recommended if you are in Oaxaca. If you get Dora as your guide you are in for a great experience.

Dora was an excellent host and tour guide! She was very helpful, knowledgeable and friendly. We tried many delicious food and drink specialties, most of which were from small street vendors, which is always the best (support small business). I would definitely recommend anyone visiting Oaxaca to experience this wonderful tour

We had such a great tour with Angelica. The food was special, many foods we had never tried before. Angelica added personal information about places she had visited since she was a child. It was a great experience of both food and culture. It is the perfect your for food, culture, and a little bit of history.

This was an amazing food journey. The guide was knowledgeable and knew exactly where to go. We ate at some of Oaxaca cities, most hidden street gems, places most gringos would just walk by. Our guide was a local Oaxaqueña who knew the history of the food, the importance of the food to the people, and the families who make it happen. My favorite stop was for the Black Mole tamales, on a street corner, at a table filled with locals. They were incredible and the care even in Street food was demonstrated in this dish. I would also say come on this tour hungry. One taco at a time doesn’t seem like much but as the evening progresses, you find yourself getting full, however still able to eat every delicious bite.. do not miss this amazing experience

One of the best experiences I had in Oaxaca! If you really want to know Oaxacan cuisine beyond the tourist spots, this tour is a must. The guides were incredible: very kind, attentive, and with impressive knowledge of the history, culture, and food of Oaxaca. At each stop, they explained the origin of the dishes, the ingredients, and the traditions, making each tasting have a special meaning. What I liked the most was the variety of the route. We went from small stands on a corner that I probably would have never discovered on my own, to high-end restaurants, without failing to visit several of the most emblematic stands in Oaxaca. Each place had something unique to offer and everything was delicious. At first, I thought that since these were tastings, I might end up hungry, but it was quite the opposite. The portions are very well planned, and by the end of the tour, I was completely satisfied. More than a food tour, it is an experience to know the essence of Oaxaca through its flavors and the people who make them possible. I would recommend it 100% to anyone visiting the city. I would definitely do it again!
