I really enjoyed this experience. I loved how we ate in different local markets and spots outside the main touristic venues. We had a great time with Josmar who was very knowledgeable and also shared many interesting life storied and legends! I greatly recommend the tour! Come with an empty stomach as you will have the chance to taste a variety of delicious food!

The tour is good, they take you to 7 little-known places, and the guide, as they see fit, can change some food, depending on how full we are or not. I took the 9 am one and my recommendation for those who take it is that maybe you should share because even being hungry it was a lot of food, but everything was very delicious and recommendable, the guide was very kind, the conversation and the tips were very good, maybe the only "bad" thing is that it is a lot of food and we ended up sharing and asking for takeout and if you are on vacation it could be an inconvenience because you do end up super full, but without a doubt it was an experience that I recommend and would do again since they have tours in the morning and night that are totally different.

Excellent knowledge of the food, culture, and the meaning behind food making and its history. Eddy loves his roots ands honors them through this experience. Oaxaca has very nice restaurants but after this tour I don’t feel the need to eat anywhere else’s but in the food stands ! And the ones he’ll show you are the real deal. Super recommended

Two words: JUST INCREDIBLE! Eddy is absolutely passionate about what he does, he is not only in love with- and very knowledgeable about- the food here, but also with the culture and the meaning that the food-making and food-sharing carry to this land, and their people. With Eddy I got the real deal: what locals make and what locals eat, which is exactly what I was looking for. Also he sorts the stops with a smart progression that won't make you feel too full. I highly recommend getting this kind of experience as soon as you arrive to Oaxaca, especially if you're not entirely, or at all, familiar with the food culture here. It'll change the way you walk through the markets, approach food stands, and give you a precious insight on the life of the people here. Highly recommended!

We loved our food tour. We had 7 stops. The food was amazing! Our favourites were the memelas and the tamales. Eddy was super knowledgable and friendly. We had an amazing time. Totally recommend!

We did the food tour with our guide, Eddy! It was the best time. He was super nice. We tasted the most amazing local food eddy shared a lot of good stories about Mexican culture and shared great recommendations for the rest of our trip here in Oaxaca. Definitely recommend!

This food tour was great! Josmar, the guide, was not only knowledgeable of the food, but also the history to the city, the region, and the architecture. Great tour! Eddy was an amazing, funny and helpful guide. He asked before starting if you wanna try something specific or not. Just one thing: the ammount of the different dishes was sometimes to much (espacially if you're not used to some of the food). I would totally recommend doing it. You'll learn a lot!
