Exceptional Food tour and guide.
Gabriel , our guide made the walking tour fun! We saw the highlights as well as hidden gems. He helped us understand the fascinating culture through the history. He was greeted by many friends throughout the areeeta, shops and the incredible Mercado Sao Joaquim. The food was a full sampling of local cuisine and treats as well as refreshments and a special liquor to top it off. We have been on many food tours in Europe and Gabriel and the Chef’s Tiur out did them all, including Paris. This is a wonderful tour and an excellent value.

The Great Foods of Salvador
This was an excellent food tour that I enjoyed much more than I thought I would. Our Manoel was a lovely guy and he was very informative throughout the tour giving our group the history and interesting details of the different foods, fruits and drinks we tried. It was a fantastic experience and I’d recommend it to anyone who finds themselves in Salvador

Food as the source of life in Salvador with a fantastic guide
My solo tour with Gabriel was beyond fantastic. He was knowledgeable, kind, solicitous of my specific interests and fun to talk with. Awe walked, he seemed to know everyone on the street and was greeted warmly. In addition to the food tastings, we talked about the history of the dishes and the history of Bahia. THE highlight was a trip to the food market, where I experienced one of the key sources of food in Salvador, had the best moqueca and enjoyed the chaos of daily life (in the best sense of the word). A+++
