What an excellent day. Manuel spoke excellent English. He took us through the Metro to the local food markets and we tried so many foods we would never have tried without him. It was relaxed and the locals in the markets were so welcoming and friendly. Thanks for making our last day in Santiago so special Manuel!

Absolutely fantastic food tour with Manuel! One of the best experiences I’ve had in Santiago! We explored authentic markets, hidden-away food spots and tried an amazing variety of Chilean dishes. There was so much delicious food, I honestly lost count! Along the way, Manuel shared fascinating stories and insights into Chilean food and everyday life, making the whole experience both incredibly interesting and great fun. What really stood out was how wonderfully personal the tour felt, even as part of a group. Manuel paid attention to each and every one of us and made sure everyone felt included. He also took my food allergy seriously and went out of his way to find fantastic alternatives for me — I never felt I was missing out on anything. This was such a great way to experience Chilean food. My mom and I went on a very brief trip to Chile and in this tour we felt like we got to try everything we had originally wanted. There is so much food provided too. From completos and sopapillas to seafood stew and ceviche at the end, we couldn't have asked for a better tasting. By the end we mostly just picked at the food because there was so much, so if you're especially into seafood, pace yourself at the beginning because we definitely couldn't eat as much as we wanted we were so full!
A great way to experience the bustling food markets of Santiago. Manuel was helpful and knowledgeable and introduced us to some typical Chilean dishes. We covered a lot of ground including using the metro so it was an excellent way to see see the city. Highly recommend (not suitable for vegetarians as there are a lot of meat dishes).
What a great way to experience the bustling markets of Santiago and sample a huge range of traditional food. My favourites were the Completo Completo and the Pisco Sour. Manuel was a knowledgeable and energetic guide, sharing history, food knowledge and a great selection of food while also taking us on the subway, showing us his dance moves and making sure no one got lost. There was so much food - a great time and a fun tour!
Our guide, Manuel, conducted a really enjoyable experience of Chilean markets and food. He started with a great explanation of the history of Chile and Santiago, then took us to the markets. We were invited to taste twelve different foods that were typical of Chile in what felt like an authentic street food manner. This is a great way to explore the local culinary traditions and was great value for money.
